Everyone remembers him for westerns but he did some great war movies too. One of my favorites was "The Green Berets". I'm a bit bias though since I served with 5th group in the 80's. Let's see who the real fans are?! Can anyone (without googling it) tell me his real name?
I remember watching The Green Berets.. It was one of my little brother's favorites. The Ballad of the Green Berets was a memorable song.
