7 Pounds

Another TikTok recommendation here. This is a movie I saw on TikTok last year but then I couldn’t find a way of downloading it. Luckily for me my brother downloaded it for me. I saw a bit of it on TikTok and I liked it so I decided to watch.

Today I’ll be talking about a movie titled 7 pounds. I’ve always maintained that I am not an action packed film fan and I think as year pass by I am still that type of person. So be sure to know that this movie is not about guns and all that.

7 pounds is an American thriller movie which was released in the year 2008. It features popular faces like Will smith, Micheal Ealy, Rosario Dawson and Woody Harrelson.

It is a movie about a young man who lost his fiancé ( would to be wife) to a fatal car accident. Things are generally going on well for the couple until he proposes to marry her. After the proposal they are faced with a car crash as the man is texting and driving. They crash into a van carrying close to 7 people and this leaves some of the passengers of the van dead and some on serious conditions.

The man's fiance on the other hand dies in this accident so he sets out to impact the live of seven people before he dies. He goes round making sacrifices to save the lives of people who are faced with serious medical conditions. Some of this are in the form of donating part of himself so those people can leave longer.

The final part of his journey has to be when he sets out to help a blind man so he can regain his sight again. The other had to do with a woman who has a heart problem and is waiting for a heart transplant. He ends up falling inlove with this woman and things start shaping up

For me, what made me watch this movie is cause I know a will smith featured film is always going to be top top. On the other hand the part I saw on TikTok was short and interesting so I had to see how things had happened.

The music selection in some scenes was very good as it went with the flow of what the actors wanted to depict in those scenes. Some actresses in the movie was very unnecessary and am sure they’ll side with me when I say the lady who had a heart issue’s neighbour was irrelevant to this movie. One other person who was irrelevant to this movie was one hospital worker who literally had no business in the movie.

It’s an old movie so goodluck fining a high quality video on the web to watch. Apart from that I like the setting of this movie. It’s a 2008 movie so it depicts things which are from that year. The actors take their roles personally and perform so well in this movie.

I’ll rate this a 9 out of 10. Why so high? Cause it’s not your normal movie and I bet you’ll enjoy this one after watching it.
