How long since the last time I stopped publishing around here, I thought for a moment that I was going to do it in a slightly less direct way, but things here in my life have changed a lot for the better, and I have remained very focused on it, taking advantage of this new opportunity and perspective of living life.
The feeling of wanting to write never abandoned my body nor much less my mind, it has always been stronger than my rushed decisions, we are faithfully connected from the first moment I took the last page of a notebook in high school until possibly the bed of my death.
I have had many things in my head and one of them is wanting to finish several writings that I have pending around, and now that after 3 years I finally have a laptop that I can take to work, I can take advantage of the rest moment to write something.
On this occasion I want to do it about a movie that I refused to watch because I felt it was going to make me depressed, and it is that when the plot involves animals especially dogs, it is something that automatically leads me to think that I am going to cry, that there is going to be a death and it transports me to something inevitable in life, having to go through it when my Rottweiler no longer has the strength to be with us.
I gave it a chance, I took the risk of watching the plot of “Caramelo” a Brazilian production that has left me very delighted and emotionally active, just that was what motivated me to write from time to time again here in Hive, taking into account that for me it is the best place to do it since it is a record that will remain for life.

Caramelo is a plot that mixes the real experiences and shortcomings of life, starting with the fact that dogs in particular should not be on the street going through so much hardship. It brings me down just to think about the number of them that are starving, and some will say that I should worry more or give priority to that thought over humans, but I consider that they are priority because they cannot choose, they have no voice, they have no options sometimes, we do up to a certain point.
For a moment in the plot I felt like in one of my favorite animations “Ratatouille”, because after these two beings find each other and form a beautiful friendship, they become indispensable to each other. Just like the animation where the chef did not know how to cook but the rat not only helped him, but also taught him, likewise Caramelo at a certain moment in the movie helps him cook.
The emotional part of this particular scene is that this young man is an excellent chef, but, due to life circumstances, he had to live with a sinister and vile disease that completely changes his life, among them the fact of losing the sense of taste, something that would be the end of the career of a dreamer of cooking.

However, and although in much of the plot that taste did not return completely, friends, passion, and above all love, made this not a barrier for this young man to become the chef of the best restaurant, and not precisely a 5-star restaurant, I speak of a fast food trailer whose passion and purpose is to save not only the lives of street dogs, but also his own in some spiritual and emotional way.
The fear of facing situations like this is something that makes us lose the horizon of life, our goals, objectives and purposes in life, we get into that small dark box that then becomes a whole blind world.
The love, trust, loyalty and true friendship that Caramelo shows to this young man makes him not only his best friend, but also his hope to live, as a reminder that life crossed the path of both for something, and it was just so that they could save each other.
The end of this plot led me to remember that time is in constant movement, it does not stop for absolutely anything, and we must learn from it, we must not stop for some barrier, let’s take another path. We must not leave something for tomorrow, we must live the exact moment which is the only sure one, and above all we must love in time without fear, without grudges and with much passion, especially when that love involves other people.
The love of a dog towards a person is something invaluable, and in this movie it is framed with a very emotional final scene that can make anyone cry, without having to go to an extreme, it leaves to the imagination things that we already know, but show a journey of life and love between these two beings which is what we must always treasure from our own lives and experiences.
