Just finished watching this movie few minutes ago and I laughed through our the movie. This was because I never knew Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro could be this funny. I love Kevin Hart’s appearance in the movie as a played young black hustler trying to make it big by promoting two old men who were professional boxers in the past.
The story goes like this, Sylvester Stallone (Henry Sharp) and Robert De Niro (Billy ‘The Kid’) were put to fight against each other after a viral video of them fighting each other in a video game studio went viral. These two haven’t boxed in like 30 years professional and they have to train for the boxing. The movie takes you through their struggles while preparing for their boxing match.
Some ideas from the scenes of Sylvester Stallone famous rocky movie was depicted a little bit in the movie. Because Rocky was also a boxing movie in which Sylvester Stallone played the lead character.
The movie is an 8/10 for me. It had all the humor and boxing action in their right proportion.
