RE: “Supergirl”, the taste of a new superheroine.

I'm not a big fan of this superhero movie franchise (DC) either. At most, I'm a fan of the Batman films, which I like solely because of the character, and that's it. After the death of Snyder's cinematic universe, I don't expect much from what Gunn is proposing with this new universe. Of course, mainly because it's just starting out, I can't be too critical until I see what's brewing in the future. I'm more worried about what will happen to the next installments and projects of this franchise due to the Warner Bros. sale than anything else, but oh well.

One thing I did like about this and the previous Superman movie was how faithful they were to the original comics. That is something that must be maintained until the end, without a doubt. Seeing the destruction of the planet Krypton in the trailer, and that city whose name I can't quite remember now, are details that, for comic book fans, are completely insane. Something I would like to see in this movie that I haven't seen before in a film made for the big screen is specifically this.

I hope Gunn manages to meet the high expectations people have for this movie, although they'll probably be expecting a crossover more than anything else.
