I agree completely with your statement, and what makes him stand out among other actors is that he does not just play a role in a movie, he becomes that character, he lives it, he feels it, he breathes it, and that's why he gives such amazing performances. He's so intense and committed to his roles that it seems as though he were actually the character he plays.
