I haven't seen this movie, but your review has definitely piqued my interest. It sounds like such a fun and clever way to explore the generational gap between mother and daughter, while also offering some great life lessons. I love the concept of switching roles and how it allows both characters to gain a new perspective on each other's lives and struggles.
The fact that the performances made you truly believe they were inhabiting each other's lives shows the strength of the acting too. I'll definitely be adding this one to my watchlist.
