I'm the Cinephile that gave you snippets about the type of movies and TV shows I enjoy. Nope, not American or European movies/tv series - I watch that once in a blue moon. I'm all in with Kdramas and Kmovies.

Here is the difference between the two;

• Kdrama: This is the Korean version of what is known as Tv shows or TV series. They run by episode and cover more details in the storyline since each episode has an hour runtime.

• Movies: This is the normal 2 hours stuff that any movie lover can watch at a go.

As you can see, the difference between Kdramas and Kmovies exists in the storytelling. My preference has always been Kdramas. As far as the storyline is cool with good casting, acting, OST (original soundtrack) and twists, I wouldn't mind delving into a Kdrama with 50 episodes. Haha.

This week would be a thrilling one because I updated my watchlist. This time around, I decided to update my Kmovies watchlist, not Kdrama. You know what I mean, right?

Here is the thing, I have not watched any of them but I did my homework before going ahead to download them so, it's just a matter of time, I will be back to give you a review of EVERY single one of them. Better strap your boots, this is real.

These are the 7 Kmovies I got;

1. The Swordsman: This is a historical action movie released in September 2020. The lead actor, Hang hyuk, is tested and trusted. His skills are legit and he pulls nice stunts on the big screen. This won't be an exception. More gist about this will come when I watch it.

2. Collectors: If you love ancient art and can deal with the twists attached to Heist related action-packed movies, I bet you would love this. FTR, the literal title of the movie is 'Tomb Theft'. You should know what to expect. Hehe.

3. Hard Hit: I have to say that this is a crazy one. No kidding, how on Earth would you different a prank call from the real thing. Let's say you get a call that once you log into your Hive Account, a bomb will explode in your house. Haha. Call it whatever you want, I call it crazy and I will bring the full gist whenever I watch it.

4. Mission Possible: Can you spot a secret agent when he decides to go undercover? You can try, but it gets tougher when the supposed secret agent is a clown. He doesn't look the part. Have fun with this one. It has a good blend of Action and comedy.

5. Hitman: Agent Jun: Ever heard of the NIS? Those dudes are no joke in South Korea. Even as a hotheaded Hitman, you wouldn't want to play hide and seek with NIS.

Man, they used an awkward voice over for the trailers on YouTube and I can't have that on my blog. Hehe. I will post a proper one when I make a review of the movie.

6. Pipeline: A team leader, an engineer, an excavator, an architect, a welder and a watchwoman form an elite team of oilers. What for? Why? Haha...they are about to make 'the impossible' possible as they attempt to flawless siphon $30 million worth of oil.

7. The Witch - Subversion: You've got to be ready for anything and everything if you want to watch this. They've got some psychos in the mix and trust me, you will see yourself rooting for a cold-blooded killer 😂. The brutality is on another level. No erotic stuff whatsoever, but I'd rate this 18+. It's also not for the faint-hearted ✌️.
