This is an Indian drama film directed by Karan Johar and released in 2010. It stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

The story follows Rizwan Khan, an Indian Muslim with Asperger's syndrome, who moves to San Francisco to live with his mother and brother.

Despite his social and communication challenges, Rizwan is a kind and caring man who falls in love with Mandira, a Hindu woman played by Kajol.

The couple marries and starts a family, but their life is disrupted by the September 11 terrorist attacks.

In the aftermath of the attacks, Rizwan and Mandira face growing discrimination and hatred towards Muslims in the United States.

The situation is exacerbated when their son, Sam, is bullied at school and, tragically, dies in a hate attack.

This devastating event leads Mandira to blame Rizwan for being a Muslim, resulting in their separation.

Despite his grief, Rizwan decides to embark on a journey across America to find the president and tell him that “I am not a terrorist, I am a Muslim.”

Along his journey, Rizwan encounters a variety of people who represent different aspects of American society, from acceptance to intolerance.

His journey becomes a powerful testimony to the struggle against discrimination and the search for peace.

The film is notable for its moving narrative and its focus on shared humanity, regardless of religion or ethnicity.

Through Rizwan's story, “My Name Is Khan” addresses themes of love, loss and the importance of empathy in a divided world.

Shah Rukh Khan's performance has been particularly praised, as he manages to convey the complexity of his character with sensitivity and depth.

This is one of my favorite movie of all time. It was such an emotional watch for me. And even reading this got me teary as it brought back memories from the movie. Oh, the part where he lost his child was terrible!

But most importantly, the movie's message, it is movies like this that should be projected and glorified in today's world.
