We all have some laughter, sadness or struggle in our life. Who are we really happy in real life? I think my friend may be happy in that way maybe I am very happy, everyone has some or the other complaint about their life. We do not want to believe that anyone is happy! If I turn this simple thing around, doesn't it mean that none of us are truly happy in this world? In everyone's life there is some cost or pain of not getting something. The sooner a person learns to master this matter and learns to be satisfied with what he has without regretting his lack, the happier he is.

Summary of the story

In 1981, San Francisco salesman Chris Gardner spent his life savings on a new business. He went into business selling portable scanners to doctors in New York City. This scanner is capable of measuring human bone density. According to him, A scanner is much more efficient than ordinary X-ray scanner. However, he does not make much profit in this business. Most of the time he has to return empty handed which complicates his already poor life. Although he is able to sell many scanners but the time gap between them is too long, he cannot make much profit. Depression and poverty began to take a toll on his personal life as well. His wife, Linda, who works as a waitress at a hotel, keeps drifting away from Chris. The family tension adds more fuel to the fire of the bitter relationship between them. The responsibility of supporting the infant son Chris Jr. falls on her. But Chris, who is constantly under tension, tries his best not to let the child understand the lack of attention. But even then, he became bankrupt due to lack of funds. She and her child had to spend the night in a shelter with beggars and squatters. But in the meantime she met a share trader named Jay Twissell. Twissell is an officer of Dean Witter Reynolds, a famous American share trading company. Chris Gardner happened to be traveling in the same taxi with him one day. Impressed by his intelligence, Twissell is willing to give him a chance at his company, but luck seems to be on his side. Can Chris finally grab the job, or is fate waiting for him? How did Chris, a homeless man living in a shelter, become one of America's most successful businessmen? A simple story is presented in a very emotional way in the screenplay of the movie. As is usually the case in movies, the lives of the central characters in poverty change dramatically. They become adults overnight. A lot of success comes to them by themselves. But in the case of this movie, both the story and screenplay are quite realistic. Apart from the financial hardships, the movie also highlights another issue. It is the love between a father and his baby son and their daily sweet relationship. All in all, the movie has no shortage of emotional moments.
