Interesting choice! Like I wrote, I liked the V'ger idea. I thought some of the execution was off, and I thought the slow pace didn't work, but that was really a great idea. Yeah, Insurrection is terrible. Seems to me like it was time for a movie and even though they didn't have an idea, they felt they had to stick to the movie schedule, so they pulled out and dusted off this old script that was so bad it wasn't even picked for a TV episode back in the day.
