Hello and welcome to the 5TH edition of Cine TV Community Spotlight. In a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community, as well as showcase the work of deserving authors, the Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun.
And it’s all simple. At the end of every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style and word count. It is not a contest but just our way of creating exposure for the works that we enjoyed throughout the week and to also boost exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.
So, in no particular order, here are the authors spotlighted for this week:

Title: Butterfly's Tongue
The final scene is an anthology: after a few years the teacher, arrested for his convictions, goes to the firing squad and the student, although he is not absolutely convinced that it is the right thing to do, throws stones at him like the rest of the people. Not because of the hatred they might have for him, but because of the fear and terror established by the Falangist regime, which made denunciation and hatred its main tool. The image of Moncho crying with rage for what he is doing is one of the most dramatic I have ever seen in the cinema.

Title: How Should Your Favourite Movie End
Jedidah's recovery could also spark a community initiative to support single struggling mothers and promote inter-tribal understanding. Her sons could/should join her in these. This revised ending provides closure, adds depth, offers social commentary, and ends on hope. Viewers will see the characters grow, take responsibilities, face consequence for their actions and find redemption. Jedidahs mother, was also nowhere to be found at the ending, what if the law enforcement agencies goes for her forcing those who already eloped to come back.

Title: The Glory: A Thrilling Tale of Sweet Revenge
I watched the progress and development of Dong-eun’s character turn from helpless to determined. I have come across some revenge plots especially in romance where the characters get torn about their ultimate decisions. Dong-eun was viciously dedicated to her goal. This didn’t mean that it all went smoothly. To my delight, I got to watch Dong-eun re-strategise and rethink her whole approach towards her revenge when conflict arose in the person of her mother. While she was always a calm storm waiting to happen, she weaponised her past, drawing upon the humiliation and the pain she went through, raising walls impenetrable.

Title: The Millionairess
The film is very entertaining, with a simple narrative that, in a way, makes you reflect on the influence of money on people. While some see money as a mean to acquire some goods, others see it as a synonym of power. The scene of Epifania and Adrian in a small inn in the English countryside is a sample of these opposing views. For Epifania, who learned from her father not to spend more than necessary, “money represents power, security and freedom”; Adrian, on the other hand, thinks that “money is just a vulgar thing, a destroyer of souls. Of course I need it, but I don't like it”.

Title: Unearth or Bury The Secret: Review of Inheritance
The premise of this film is very good and so is the storytelling. Fast-paced and suspenseful, every scene is well placed and connected to each other, making the story flow smoothly. Each scene builds tension and foreboding, particularly in the underground bunker scenes, leaving the audience to anticipate spooky excitement and a gripping end. It didn't turn out that way. I'm somewhat disappointed that this film falls short of its potential due to the cast's underwhelming performances and ineffective use of their roles. I love Lily Collins in thrillers and recently in the ongoing comedy series, Emily In Paris, she's putting her acting skill to good use.

Title: La Grande Bellezza
In short, the movie is sublime! From the first images and sounds, it overwhelms you. The movement of the camera, the traveling, and the close-ups are perfect. One of the main characters of the film is the city of Rome. The way it is filmed proves the director's love, knowledge, and admiration for the city. Probably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. What did I understand from the movie? As the main theme, not directly said but very well suggested is death. More precisely, the approach of death. A story told in a beautiful and decadent city but in decline.

Title: Game of Thrones: How It Should Have Ended
Daenerys was shocked to see Jon Snow fight in a dragon fire without getting burned which ascertain his claim to the iron throne. As Jon Snow was fighting with the night king, (theme song still playing in the background) Daenerys screamed "Drakaris" one more time and this time, the flame from Drogo covered the entire area Jon and the night king fought, after the flames had done down. The sight of Jon Snow's sword piercing through the heart of the night king was seen but also, the spear of the night king was piercing through Jon Snow's heart. (Song stops) All undead army began to fall on the battlefield and the battle was over.
