Titanic movie was released in 1997 and it is a Romance/Drama based film. Titanic was a British passenger liner, operated by the White Star Line, which sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK, to New York City.
The main character in this movie is named Rose DeWitt Bukater(Kate Winslet), Jack Dawson(Leonardo DiCaprio), Caledon Hockley(Billy Zane), and Brock Lovett(Bill Paxton), Ruth DeWitt Bukater(Frances Fisher), Margaret Brown(Kathy Bates).
The story is that in 1997, Brock Lovett and his team search the 3831 meters below sea level with the help of modern technology, in search of a sunken ship, the ship name the "TITANIC". On 15 April 1912, the ship sank, along with a precious large diamond, known as the "Heart of the Ocean". Exploring the Heart of the Ocean in the titanic.
While searching the captain sees a locker. Everyone thinks the diamond is in it, they only find a drawing of a young woman wearing the necklace. The sketch is dated April 14, 1912, the same day the Titanic struck the iceberg that caused it to sink. She recounts her experiences aboard the Titanic.
The story is shown this time Rose shares with Brock the horrific experience that occurred on the Titanic in 1912. In 1912 Southampton, 17-year-old Rose DeWitt Bukater her wealthy fiance Caledon Hockley, and Rose's widowed mother Ruth board the Titanic. Jack Dawson a poor young artist, wins a third-class Titanic ticket in a poker game.
Rose distraught over her loveless engagement, climbs over the stern railing, intending to jump overboard. Jack saves Rose, and here Jack is introduced. Rose realizes she has feelings for Jack. Rose wanted to draw a picture with Jack's Heart of the Ocean necklace. On the forward deck, they witness the ship's collision with an iceberg and overhear its officers and builder discussing the serious situation.

When Jack & Rose return to warn the others about the collision, Cal has Lovejoy slip the necklace into Jack's pocket to frame him for theft. Jack is then confined in the master at arms office. Jack & Rose return to the boat deck. The lifeboats have departed and the ship's stern is rising as the flooded bow sinks.
As passengers fall to their deaths, Jack & Rose desperately cling to the stern rail. The upended ship breaks in half and the bow section dives downward. In the freezing water, Jack helps Rose onto a wooden panel buoyant enough for only one person and makes her promise to survive.
Rose is saved by a returning lifeboat, keeping her promise and Jack dies of hypothermia. The Carpathia rescues the survivors; Rose avoids Cal by hiding among the steerage passengers and gives her name as Rose Dawson.
Alone on the stern of keldysh, Rose takes out the Heart Or The Ocean, which has been in her possession all along and drops it into the sea over the wreck site. While she is seemingly asleep in her bed, a young Rose reunites with Jack at Titanic's Grand Staircase, applauded by those who died on the ship. This is where the Masterpiece movie ends.
