Am Donnerstag fand wieder ein gemütliches Hive Meetup in Wien statt. Diesmal im News Cafe, das befindet sich auf der Äußeren Mariahilfer Str. in der Nähe des Westbahnhofs.
Wir hatten sogar einen eigenen Raum (hinten rechts), der mit Zeitungspapier an den Wänden dekoriert ist. Cool.
Hab wieder ein bisschen über mein aktuelles Lieblingsthema (KI) geplaudert und @digitalmike hat mich auf ein neues Krypto-Game aufmerksam gemacht. Supremacy.
Das Spiel vereinigt gleich mehrere Buzzwords:
Supremacy ist ein Krypto/NFT/AI-basiertes, play2earn Echtzeit-Strategie-Spiel im Metaverse 😂
Kling ein bisschen kompliziert, ist es aber gar nicht. Man kauft Kampf-Roboter als NFTs, die vermutlich auch upgegradet werden können, und lässt diese dann in Battlefields automatisiert (AI-basiert) gegen andere Bots antreten.
Den AI-Schlachten kann man übrigens auch ohne Login auf der Website zuschauen. Ist ziemlich hübsch gemacht.
Mit 3D-Grafik, Sound und Live-Chat wie bei einem Echtzeit-Strategie-Spiel (RTS) nur, dass sie das 3D-Game jetzt Metaverse nennen.
Laut Bing AI lief das Spiel ursprünglich auf der BSC Chain, der Governance-Token (SUPS) sollte aber mittlerweile auf Ethereum migriert worden sein. Jedenfalls lässt sich der Token auf Uniswap traden.
Der Token hat seit dem Launch 98% verloren, leider auch nicht viel anders als bei Splinterlands (SPS) im Moment.

On Thursday there was another nice Hive Meetup in Vienna. This time at News Cafe, which is located near the Vienna West Station.
We even had our own room (back right) decorated with newsprint on the walls. Cool.
Chatted again a bit about my current favorite topic (AI) and @digitalmike pointed me to a new crypto game. Supremacy.
The game combines several buzzwords at once:
Supremacy is a crypto/NFT/AI-based, play2earn, real-time strategy game in the metaverse 😂
Sounds a bit complicated, but it's not at all. You buy combat robots as NFTs, which can probably also be upgraded, and then let them compete against other bots in Battlefields in an automated (AI-based) way.
By the way, you can watch the AI battles on the website without logging in. It's pretty nicely done.
With 3D graphics, sound and live chat like a real-time strategy game (RTS) only now they call the 3D game Metaverse.
According to Bing AI, the game originally ran on BSC Chain, but the governance token (SUPS) should have migrated to Ethereum by now. In any case, the token can be traded on Uniswap.
The token has lost 98% since launch, unfortunately not much different than Splinterlands (SPS) right now.

I have never heard of this game before but the way you describe it is very interesting I will definitely start playing it in the next few days and then I will let you know if I like it. How is it.
I think I have heard a few people mention it before in the past but I haven't heard anything about it lately. I didn't bother joining it though because of the lack of time and I don't like the gas fees.

High gas fees are really a show stopper especially if you are used to 0 tx fees like on Hive.
Never heard of it but I'll definitely check it out. There are just so many play to earn games anymore, it's hard to decide which ones to even bother playing!
I didn't know this game and that this one on ether throws me back a bit.
Robots against robots, I like it. Perhaps soon the wars will be like that.
Interesting game, sure has lost a lot of value though. Makes me worry about jumping in!

It's an Ethereum based game, they sell NFTs and tokens, but be careful with games ;)
Ich hab mir das Whitepaper vor über einem Jahr heruntergeladen, aber immer noch nicht gelesen 😬
Haha, witzig, wäre interessant, wie die Spiele AI gelöst ist, wenn sie das überhaupt sagen.
Ich muss es erst lesen, aber ich glaube, dass im Whitepaper nichts diesbezüglich drinnen steht, weil es damals als das Whitepaper geschrieben wurde noch nicht wirklich ein Thema war.
Das schaut schon ganze gut aus. Ich mag aber keine ERC-20 Token :D
Yep, finde die ETH Fees zu hoch für Gaming, das macht dann keinen Spaß, wenn man 0 tx fees gewohnt ist.
leider musste ich einen Nachtdienst einspringen, sonst wäre ich gern gekommen
hoffe es geht sich vielleicht beim nächsten mal aus :)
