Heute habe ich mal einen etwas ungewöhnlichen Tipp für Euch - und das habe ich @thomasthewolf zu verdanken. Der hatte sich nämlich die beiden Videos aus meinem Blog-Artikel vom Montag angeschaut. Daraufhin hatte ihm der YouTube-Algorithmus ein Video aus dem Kanal von Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq. vorgeschlagen - was wirklich sehr erstaunlich ist. Ich hatte in meinem Artikel nämlich einen Rock-Song aus den 1970er-Jahren und dessen Heavy-Metal-Cover-Version vorgestellt. Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq. ist aber ein Musiker und Entertainer aus Bedford in England, der Musik im Stil der 1940er Jahre macht und daher mit den 70er-Jahren oder mit harter Rockmusik ganz einfach mal gar nichts zu tun hat.
Trotzdem (oder auch gerade deshalb) hatte ich großen Spaß, als ich mir den Kanal von Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq. anschaute. Dort findet man nicht nur Cover-Versionen im 40er-Jahre-Stil, sondern auch Original-Songs. Als Einstieg möchte ich Euch den Original-Song "Pants Drunk" ans Herz legen - nicht nur, weil es ein lustiger Song ist, sondern auch, weil er angesichts der momentanen Orkan-Lage einen guten Vorschlag für die heutige Abend-Gestaltung enthält:
