Experience in the power of cyfer 2022 / Experiencia en el poder del cyfer 2022 Eng/ Esp

Greetings to all the readers of the Hive communities. I spent some time working on my skills as a performer on things I lacked, musicality, metrics.

A very important part for the development of sound intelligence to translate it to the most universal language, the language of the body.

Today I come to share with you a unique experience in which frankly I was very nervous, but nevertheless I really enjoyed the challenge of competing in front of many people more experienced than me. I am talking about an urban dance competition, which happened last month in Bogota a few days before returning to my hometown.

A very dear friend of mine, specifically a hip hop dancer, called me to invite me to compete with him. The advantage of this was that he was the winner in the last battle that went to the top.

I explain, all urban dance competitions have a number of tops in order of primary numbers, and are arranged from highest to lowest 32, 16, 8, 4, 2... for example.

This indicates that the closer you get to the single digit numbers the closer you are to winning.

We arrived and the event had already started, certainly I had already mentioned that I was a little nervous because these spaces are not my usual spaces, although I have previously competed in Caracas Venezuela, years ago, I had stayed only with the scenarios and training platforms.

But this meeting invited me and motivated me to share more of my dancing in these spaces, where they have other questions & more personal information, each dancer has a stamp, an investigative character that sincerely lacks many dancers in contemporary dance.

I arrived with my partner Aliu, when we arrived I introduce myself with several people to interact with the hip hop family, there were about 150 people in a space called Holy dance a dance academy located on 57th street with career 14 or better concinada with Av.Caracas.

There were personalities from other urban genres, breaking, locking , popping, house, waking , voghi.

The first ones we competed with happened to be dance acquaintances of a couple of guys studying at Cenda in a private dance program in Bogota. I know they had a knowledge of floor technique in contemporary dance.

We performed well in this first meeting, which was only demonstrative in nature, I imagine that the judges wanted to see what we were capable of and how we could disrupt the opposing couple.

We achieved excellent coordination but Aliu and I already knew a lot about the physics of the body and we had a lot of listening to compose in space and with the bodies.

The next round we competed in a row with two Venezuelan guys younger than us named baby Fox and Fox rock. Their dual coordinations were unpredictable and clean group coordinations and they passed us by a big difference in judges' scores. But we gave our best and best of all we made ourselves known or at least I made myself known in these spaces of the freezing city of Bogota.

The competition takes small breaks to exprasir and drain energy with the cyfers that are spaces to share mobility wide circles to enter to feel the music. Enter the last two top did that, accompanied by a very good DJ from Bogota.

There I met several bboys and bgirls from Cali and Bogota who asked me about the fusion that I develop in dance and breakdance, there we shared without so many words we shared some entries.

The end of the competition was thunderous, there was an ecstasy in the atmosphere that overflowed, the floor shook, people screamed and demonstrated the freedom of expression of the body.

For the finals the winning couple received a ticket to go to Mexico and compete internationally to Colombia, the craziest thing of all is that these winners are Venezuelan, the parents of the Fox's babys movement, some beasts.

At the end of the competition we made a group to go to eat something and drink a beer, typical of dancers we ended up in a disco dancing all night until dawn we danced without stopping, a very nice experience accompanied by a great night in the city of Bogota.

Experiencia en el poder del cyfer 2022

Un saludo a todos los lectores de las comunidades de Hive. Estuve un tiempo trabajando en mis habilidades como intérprete en cosas de las que carecía, musicalidad, métrica.

Una parte muy importante para el desarrollo de la inteligencia sonora para traducirlo al lenguaje más universal, el del cuerpo.

Hoy les vengo a compartir una experiencia única en la que francamente estaba muy nervioso, pero sin embargo disfrute mucho la apuesta de competir delante mucha personas más experimentadas que yo. Les hablo de una competencia de danza urbana, que sucedió el pasado mes en Bogotá unos días antes de volver a mí ciudad natal.

Un amigo muy querido, bailarín de danza urbana específicamente hip Hop me llamaba para invitarme a competir con el. La ventaja de ésto fue que con el fue ganador en la última batalla que fueron al lo colocaban en un top mas alto.

Explico, todas las competencias de danza urbana tienen una cantidad de tops en orden de números primarios, y se organizan de mayor a menor 32, 16, 8, 4, 2... por ejemplo.

Esto indica que entre más te acerques a los números de un solo dígito estás más cerca de ganar.

Llegamos y ya el evento había empezado, ciertamente ya les había mencionado que estaba un poco nervioso por qué estos espacios no son mis espacios habituales, aunque anteriormente he competido en Caracas venezuela, hace años, me había quedado solo con los escenarios y las plataformas de entrenamiento.

Pero este encuentro me invitó y motivó a compartir más mí dancing en estos espacios, en los que tienen otras preguntas & informaciones más personales, cada bailarín tienen un selló, un carácter investigativo que sinceramente le falta a muchos bailariens en danza contemporána.

Llegué con mí parcero Aliu, cuando llegamos me presento con varias personas para relacionarnos con la familia hip Hop, había alrededor de 150 personas en un espacio que se llama Holy dance una academia de danza ubicada en la calle 57 con carrera 14 o mejor concinada con Av.Caracas.

Habían personalidades de otros géneros urbanos, breaking, locking , popping, house, waking , voghi.

Los primeros con los que competimos concidieron en ser conocidos de la danza par de chicos que estudian en Cenda en un programa de danza privado de Bogotá. Se que tenían un conocimiento en técnica de piso en danza contemporána.

Nos desenvolimos bien en este primer encuentro, que solo fue de carácter demostrativo, imagino que yo que los jueces querían ver de que éramos capaces y como podimos desembrar a la pareja contraria.

Logramos excelentes coordinaciones pero ya Aliu y yo nos conocimos mucho la física del cuerpo y teníamos mucha escucha para componer en el espacio y con los cuerpos.

Al siguiente round competimos seguido con dos chicos venezolanos más jóvenes que nosotros llamados baby Fox y Fox rock. Sus coordinaciones duales eran grupales impredecibles y limpias nos pasaron por mucha diferencia en puntaje de jueces. Pero dimos lo mejor de nosotros y lo mejor de todo es que nos dimos a conocer o por lo menos yo me di a conocer en estos espacios de la ciudad helada de Bogotá.

La competencia toma pequeñas pausas para exprasir y drenar energía con los cyfers que son espacios para compartir la movilidad círculos amplios para entrar a sentir la música. Entra los dos últimos top hicieron eso, acompañado de un DJ muy bueno de Bogotá.

Ahí conocí a varios bboys y bgirls de Cali y Bogotá que me preguntaban por la fusión que desarrollo en danza y breakdance, ahí compartimos sin tantas palabras compartimos unas entradas.

El final de la competencia fue estruendoso, había un éxtasis en el ambiente que se desbordaba, el piso temblaba, la gente gritaba y se manifestaba de la libertad de expresión del cuerpo.

Para los finales la pareja de ganadores recibían un pasaje para ir a México y competir de talla internacional a colombia, lo más loco de todo es que dichos ganadores son Venezuelanos, los padres de movimiento de los babys Fox's, unas bestias.

Al finalizar la competencia hicimos un grupo para ir a comer algo y tomarnos una cerveza, típico de bailarines terminamos en una discoteca bailando toda la noche hasta el amanecer bailamos sin parir, una experiencia muy bonita acompañado de una gran noche en la ciudad de Bogotá.
