RE: Welcome to the Teachers Lounge!

All the best. I am sure it’ll do well. I was a teacher in a medical college for almost 4 years. The point where you emphasise about not identifying anyone, even indirectly, if it is something negative about that person is very important. Having been a student and a teacher, I realise what a significant impact it can have on the psyche of a budding student. And it is not like we, as teachers, are right all the time.

Thanks! You’re welcome to contribute with your experience.

I think it’s an important point to. I don’t know about other countries but in Norway we have full confidentiality over everything related to the kids and most matters of the school. I’m assuming it’s the same in any country that has some respect for their citizens.

Thanks, I will try to contribute when possible.

With regards to patients, we have strict guidelines regarding confidentiality. Regarding students, I may not be fully aware of all the rules, but I feel any good teacher will strive to uphold the privacy of the institution and students.
