The Joyous Teachers Day Celebration at The Municipal Level

Teachers Day is celebrated yearly to honor and tribute to all teachers. This is also one way of recognizing their important role in education. Being a teacher is not easy. It is not just a career, job, or profession; it's a vocation wherein we must be committed and dedicated to teaching our learners.

Last October 3, 2024, the Tabogon District Teachers celebrated Teachers Day at the municipal level for the first time. The celebration was organized by the municipal mayor together with the municipal councilor of Tabogon. The event was well organized, with tables and chairs for all teachers to feel comfortable. The stage was well decorated and there was also a photo booth for us teachers to take our photos and our souvenirs. There was food for our dinner and a live band for those who entertained the teachers while waiting for the formal opening of the program. When the beloved mayor and all the guests arrived, the event formally started. It commenced with a prayer, followed by the singing of the national anthem. The welcome address was delivered by our very supportive Public School District Supervisor. After which the CTU dance troupe performed a dance presentation to welcome everyone.After the welcome dance was the roll call and energizer led by the CTU dance troupe. Then the Mayor and all municipal councilors delivered their teacher's day messages.

After several messages, the video clip showing the valuable role of teachers in transforming the lives of every learners was played. After watching the video was the get-together dinner. While eating unlimited drinks we're served with a matching live band. Then the raffle draw followed by various prizes. Finally, before going home, we were given five kilos of ganador rice. The teachers went home with full stomachs, with gifts recieved and had fun. We are very thankful to our municipal officials for organizing such an unforgettable Teachers Day celebration.
