The Real Deal Mango's - Taiwan Mango's

As I live in Taiwan for the second year its now where I begin to discover that fruit in Taiwan really taste damn good. I mean really really really good.

Not sure if its because of the soil, water, weather? Or maybe a combination of all of those? What I used to think some fruit is just ok... in Taiwan the fruit somehow rejuvenates my taste buds and my eyes get wide open.

The two fruit I can really and honestly recommend is mango and pineapple. These two made the biggest difference and I am afraid I will never be able to taste something better than this specifically for mango and pineapple.

Ultra freshness cut right out today it seems. Looks so nice... way better than Costco. :)

Today lets talk about MANGO~
My wife told me there is a market where during the mango season in Taiwan (May to September) farmers gather around and sell all sorts of everything mango related. There are so many different types of mangos as well in Taiwan. I am not good at which is which yet cause I am just indulging into the experience as we speak. So off we go!!~~

Here is the location of the place in Taiwan called Yujing District.
https://goo.gl/maps/hJkoowF96kdZURNx8

This place is known for its MANGO'S.
I know cause that was the first thing that comes out on google maps when I typed Yujing... OK that means the place where we went is Legit!!

Thank you my wife!!~~ You see... I dont know anything here in Taiwan... My wife is Taiwanese but I am Korean American. There is only one way to learn culture... just like the movie "Avatar". Jump right in and just go with the flow~~~

I think its really a big deal and people are proud of their mango's. The way how they present it tells me how much I don't know about worlds fruits and have not tried every mango variation there is to offer.

I do think its about time to venture out trying different type of fruits and variety and get out of my comfort zone as well.

The weather was so crazy hot that day anything with ice was a must.

Luckily there was a shop where they sold Mango ice slush desert where it's popular in Taiwan and you can find it practically everywhere.

This was a must have at that day cause inside the market it was ultra hot and my whole family was sweating grape size beads. Hahaha~

There were fruits that looked so exotic I had no idea what in the world they were. But they look so pretty... I never lived in a tropical island for long periods of time and being my second year here I can start to see stuff that I couldn't see before.

This happens whenever I move to another country or in the US move to a different state... the first year is that your mind and body needs to get adjusted to the surroundings and its actually pretty hard and stressful. Then the next year you actually start to accept, adjust, and get accustomed to what is around you and this is where you begin to see small details of beauty or moments of joy happens randomly. Its actually amazing how we humans can adjust to any environment as long as we have the will to move forward.

This mango market, as I see around it made me think that it was always around me but I never got to notice the goodness till now... I guess I am starting to adapt to change once more. :)

The small little relief and joys of such simple things like a ice slush in a hot summer day brings out so much joy and makes me wonder why can't we be simple like this in life. :) It a good reminder for me that day to learn that happiness is somewhat in moments of time where we tend to not notice and hidden in things we see insignificant such as ice slush. :)

Da heck is that!?? Never seen it before... but the color is so mesmerizing.

Thanks for viewing my posts~
I have been living abroad my entire life and I believe I can share some experiences with others who want to know. But first!! I gotta post some more stuff! Cheers!

Really juicy the mango must be. I’m a fan of mangoes too. Great post and thanks for stopping by the hangout to share this cool content with us. Cheers 🥂

Thanks for inviting me my friend.
Keep in touch and keep me posted~~~ :)

You must have had a very great time on the fruit adventure, my mouth is watering right now at the pictures.

I ate pineapple and watermelon a few days ago, I haven't tried pineapple and mango but I can tell the juicy taste you felt when munching it. Red mangoes and dried mango are new to me, it is the first time and I wish I could taste all of them including the fruit with pine.

Fruits are very beneficial to the human body, we need several vitamins to keep us healthy. Looks like I will be visiting Taiwan for some fruit and you will be my host.

Is that your son? He looks really cute.

If you ever visit Taiwan... This place... this place is the place to EAT.
EAT Taiwan food, EAT the deserts & snacks, EAT the Fruit!!! EAT, EAT, and EAT.
Some of the best seafood, fruits, coconut juice, noodles...ect I ever had were the best here for some reason I have no idea why.

The mango story is one of those where I didn't really mind much... almost zero....
until my wife cut me some mango and ask me to try....
I kid you not, the yellow/orange part of the mango....
melted in my mouth so to speak....
and I was like... WHOAAAAAA.

The last paragraph of your comment is making me crave for mangoes, I hope can get some tomorrow in a nearby fruit market.

Happy weekend to you.

Taiwan mango and pineapple are really nice . when i tour Taiwan then i taste really nice because these are fresh. Not visit to supermarket or mall always try local market because there farmers are sell their fruits.

YES!!~~ The fresh part is so important.... because I never knew... It makes such a big big difference!!
It really makes the fruit taste more sweeter, softer, juicy..... its hard to explain but its true.
You cannot compare it to supermarket or mall fruit... Never! hahahaha.

Thanks for the comment!!! That is a good point!

I have not tried the fruits of Taiwan because this country is far away from me. But Yes, of course, I can guess by looking at the pictures that as much as they look delicious, they will also be delicious to eat.

And you know @whangster79 A couple of months ago, a mango festival was held in our Pakistan in which two hundred varieties of mangoes were introduced. I am sure if you were in this festival, you would have been happy.

Btw Your photography is very impressive. Bravo💕

Oh wow~ Pakistan!
I have never been there as well and I sure do wish I can visit as many countries as I can before I die. :)
200 varieties of mango.... how did people even know how to even set a number is amazing, because as long as its good mango...
Mango is a Mango... hahahahah

Maybe I am too simple.

Photography editing with graphics is what I enjoy~~
I do like to make it funny and more enjoyable for everyone.

Thanks!

I myself was surprised when I got a chance to know the different names of mangoes at festival.
And you said right "Mango is mango"😅

And I pray that you travel more than 200 countries just like 200 mango varieties hehe. This dream of yours will surely come true.

And you have really entertained us with your editing and graphics. Really impressive💕

Your too kind @faiza34 , thank you for your encouraging comments. :)
I always thought it would be fun to add some graphic font in there to make it funny and positive.
and if you enjoy it, as a creator this is what I think people do it for....
feeling of goodness. :) Like the mango. heheheh

Actually you deserve it.✨
And I will continue to learn something new from your editing.💕

It was nice discussion @whangster79

and I will make sure there is something to learn in the blog... :)
Photo editing, some graphics work, wording... its kind of like cooking in a way.

Everything needs to be just the right amount.

Ah! The mango and pineapples are looking very colourful. As you said it's taste must be awesome.Expression of your son after taking a bite of mango slice, says he tasted sourness.😃😃. I too don't know what is the name of the fruit as we seen in the end but seems it will taste as colour says.

In India, we had also different kind of mangoes. They taste good but not so colourful.😂😂

Thank man for sharing those photos and their taste descriptions.

Indian food is one of my most favorite food I eat at least once every two weeks with my family. Garlic Nan with chicken curry... ohhhhhh. Sooo good.
In Taiwan they have real Indian food restaurants made by real Indian people... sooo goood. I thank they are in Taiwan~~ hahaha.

Oh I wish to one day goto India to really try out the local food~~
Food is a universal currency of welcoming and happiness.... because EVERYBODY loves food. :)
I wonder how the fruit is there~~ I never really thought about it.

Nice!!~~~ Thanks!

Just realized that there are so many things one could do with a mango. This post just made me create a mango desert in my head.

Yes, its exactly what went in my head that day..... when you go to the market and all you see around you is just mango's.
Mango this, mango that, dried or fried, small and big, cold or hot..... so much ideas!

I am happy that I can get you to think of some new ideas for yourself. I hope you can make a tasty desert made with mango!!~~

Yammy Pizza!!~ Thanks!!

@whangster79 my god I love all this exotic stuff! I buy unripe mangoes. Then I hide it in a bag and in a dark place. Thus, the mango ripens quickly. We do not have such fruits in Ukraine. But there are plums, apricots, raspberries. For you, this is probably exotic

Yes even for me its very exotic~
It looks like plants I see from the movie Avatar. hahahah.
I hope there will be much more fruits available in Ukraine soon~ however, plums, apricots, and raspberries are also very good.
mix them with yogurt.... yummy. :)
