Good afternoon Dear FoodiesBeehive friends đ today I will teach you how to make a delicious Coconut-based Cake
Ingredientes / Ingredients
Para el bizcocho:
- 6 huevos
- 280 grs harina de trigo todo uso
- 200 grs AzĂșcar
- 1 cdta polvo de hornear
- 1 cdta esencia de vainilla
Para la crema: - 2 latas leche de coco de 400 ml cada una
- 6 yemas de huevo
- 10 grs almidĂłn de maiz (maicena)
- 1/2 taza ron, brandy o jerez
Procedimiento / Process
- Paso 1:Precalentar el horno a 180°C. Llevar los huevos a la batidora hasta que dupliquen su tamaño, luego agregar el azĂșcar poco a poco. A esta mezcla agregar la vainilla.
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Take the eggs to the mixer until they double in size, then add the sugar little by little. To this mixture add the vanilla.
- Paso 2:Cernir la harina y el polvo de hornear y agregar a la mezcla anterior. Mezclar cuidadosamente en forma envolvente y llevar la mezcla a un bol para horno previamente engrasado y enharinado. Llevar al horno por 15 min aproximadamente o hasta pinchar con un palillo y este salga seco.
Step 2: Sift the flour and baking powder and add to the previous mixture. Mix carefully in an enveloping way and transfer the mixture to a previously greased and floured baking bowl. Bake for approximately 15 min or until pierced with a toothpick and it comes out dry.
- Paso 3: Ahora mientras se enfrĂa nuestro bizcocho haremos nuestra crema de coco, vertemos en una olla las yemas de huevo, la crema de coco y la maicena, mezclamos constantemente hasta obtener una mezcla suave y homogĂ©nea, muy parecida a la crema pastelera!
Step 3: Now while our cake is cooling we will make our coconut cream, pour the egg yolks, the coconut cream and the cornstarch into a pot, mix constantly until we obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture, very similar to pastry cream!
- Paso 4: Desmoldamos nuestro bizcocho y rebanamos en rodajas de 1 CM de ancho. Vamos colocando en un recipiente de vidrio, bañamos a nuestro gusto con el licor escogido y luego colocamos una capa de crema pastelera de coco. Asà hacemos sucesivamente hasta agotar todos los ingredientes.
Step 4: Unmold our sponge cake and slice into 1 CM wide slices. We are placing in a glass container, we bathe to our liking with the chosen liquor and then we place a layer of coconut pastry cream. We do this successively until all the ingredients are used up.
- Paso 5: Por Ășltimo preparamos un merengue suizo y cubrimos nuestro bizcocho, opcionalmente podemos rociar con canela y coco deshidratado rallado!! Buen Provecho
Step 5: Finally we prepare a Swiss meringue and cover our sponge cake, optionally we can sprinkle with cinnamon and grated dehydrated coconut !! Enjoy your meal
