Sweet less delicious "Kokis" prepared for festive occasions in my country.

Hello my loving Hiveans,

How are you, Today is the Sinhala and Hindu New Year. Sinhalese and Hindus in my country celebrate this festival in a very festive manner.The recipe I bring to you today is made just for the festive season. Make it very simple and easy. That's it " Kokis". So let's see how make it.

Ingredients;

  • Two cups of white rice flour
  • 250 ml of oil
  • Half cup of water
  • A teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon of pepper powder
  • Half teaspoon of salt powder
  • Finely chopped curry leaves

  • Half cup of condensed coconut milk

  • A kokis mold (Available for sale in the market)

The method of making;

Add turmeric powder, salt and pepper to the white rice flour.Add the chopped curry leaves.

Mix everything well and add a little water. Add half a cup of coconut milk and mix well.Make it like a non-solid liquid.

Place a deep aluminum pan over the stove and add oil to it.When the oil heats up, put the kokist mold and heat for a while.

Add the heated kokis mold to the flour mixture and add to the oil.

After about 20 seconds, remove the mold from the oil and you will have the kokis made of the mold. After about a minute, remove the a kokis from the stove.

From two cups of white rice flour we can make about thirty kokis.

We make kokis for every festival in my country. Even adults like it because it is not sweet.It can be eaten as a bite. Try to make it.Kokis are a delicacy that tastes good even though it is less sweet.
