Ingredients;
- Three raw mangoes
- Two tablespoons of sugar
- A teaspoon of salt
- Half teaspoon of fenugreek seeds
- A teaspoon of mustard seeds
- One and half teaspoon of cumin seeds
- A cup of water
- 10 no of dried chilli pods
- Curry leaves
- Chopped raw green chillies
- Chopped garlic
- Chopped b onions
- 3 cloves cardamom
- A tablespoon of vinegar
- Three tablespoons of oil
The method of making;
Three mangoes remove the peels.
Wash and clean the mangoes and cut into strips.
Slightly crush the mango strips so that they do not separate.
Add a teaspoon of vinegar and mix well.
Put a pan on the stove and add a tablespoon of oil to it.Add fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and dried chilli pods and fry till it turns black. Then blender it.
Add a teaspoon of salt to the mixture and mix well.
Put another pan on the stove and add the remaining oil.When the oil heats up, add the cardamom pods, garlic, big onion and curry leaves.
Then add the mango strips.
Now add the chopped green chillies and the blended mixture.
Add sugar and water and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
Looks like a really tasty mango pickle ready to eat.
