Hello, today is Sunday, Sunday of being at home (more me, spending my last days of rest for the Covid), rainy Sunday, lazy Sunday.
So @Isamorales has spent the whole day saying he wanted to eat something tasty, so what better way to end the weekend than preparing a different meal and pamper our little stomach for a while too!
After seeing what ingredients we had at home, we decided to prepare a baked chicken in milk cream.
2.Cebolla cortada en tiras
3.Papa corta en finas rodajas
4.Crema de leche
5.Huevos (2)
6.Queso mozarella preferiblemente pero como no teníamos usamos queso amarillo rallado
7.Sal
8.Orégano
9.Cualquier condimento que deseen utilizar
So the basic ingredients that you have to take into account for the preparation of this meal are the following:
1.Chopped chicken pieces, you can preferably use breast, but since we had churrasco (boneless thigh), that's what we used.
2.Onion cut into strips.
3.Potato cut in thin slices
4.Milk cream
5.Eggs (2)
6.Mozzarella cheese preferably, but since we didn't have it we used grated yellow cheese.
Salt
8.Oregano
9.Any seasoning you wish to use
Here we have the ingredients ready to assemble, the container that we are going to put in the oven, in our case the air fryer oven. We put a little bit of oil at the bottom, we chop the onion in thin strips, the potato in thin slices, the chicken in pieces and we season it with a touch of salt, oregano and a mix of spices that we have here at home.
Now, in the case of the milk cream, we must place it in a bowl, with the 2 eggs, season a little with the dressing of our preference and proceed to mix all these ingredients.
Now it is time to put all the ingredients together in our container. As I said before, we will have to grease a little bit the bottom of our container with oil, then we place the ingredients in layers, first the onion, then the potatoes, the chicken and finally the mixture we made with the milk cream.
Now, with all the ingredients in our container, we proceed to cover it with aluminum foil and take it directly to the oven and in our case to our airfryer which also has this baking function (not as accurate as an oven but it does not do it badly either, you just have to learn to use it).
Well, in our case it is not necessary to preheat as we use the airfryer, but if your case is that of an oven, you should preheat the oven a little and thus reduce the cooking time a little.
We put the airfryer at 200° for 20 minutes, and when this time was up, we took out our dish, which did not look bad at all, but on the contrary, we put some grated cheese and some tomato slices with a little oregano on top and straight to the oven again, this time at 160° for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes the result was this...
The truth is that I have run out of words to describe how divine it was, if we evaluate it, it is not so expensive compared to other meals, it is not complex and it is not so long to make, you just have to have a little patience and love, because everything is better if it is made with love.
This delicious chicken can be served with anything of your preference, such as rice for example, although in our case I must confess that due to laziness and lack of creativity we served it with soda crackers, now tell me, what would you serve with this delicious chicken?
