Stop By At Small Cafe With Homey Atmosphere

Lately I feel like the earth is not doing well. The heat was intense. I traveled quite a long way this afternoon to drop off my passenger.

As a driver, I felt like I was melting in the car because of the hot weather. My passengers also felt the same way as me.

Because lunch time had arrived, my passenger finally asked me to stop at a cafe.

We stopped at a cafe Palung Food And Coffee. A small cafe but looks cozy.

We have a cool indoor location with air conditioning. It turns out that even though the cafe is small, it is designed to be comfortable. The first time I entered this cafe, it seemed like a homey atmosphere.

The seating is arranged with sofas which are usually found in family rooms in Indonesian homes. The sofa feels soft with a long table which is also comfortable.

Apart from sofas, there are also several chairs made of wood and iron. Arranged in the corner of the restaurant.

I asked my passenger to take a short photo of me. They are very good. I am grateful that I always get good passengers. They often invite me to eat at cafes. Like now.

Most of my passengers are friendly and I even consider them like your own family. I'm very grateful for that, including the food I got for free.

This small cafe serves Indonesian food. I ordered the fried duck menu. Served with spicy chili sauce.

The typical Indonesian dish is accompanied by crackers, added with vegetable garnishes such as cucumber, tomato and lettuce. Then, there is also the addition of fried tempeh.

Another characteristic is the sprinkling of fried onions on top of the rice. This looks simple but actually for us the Indonesian tongue is really appetizing. Do you also have fried onions sprinkled on top of rice in your area? I think you should try it.

This small cafe is good at serving food. The duck menu that I ordered tasted delicious with a soft meat texture.

This duck meat also doesn't smell. There are many restaurants that are not smart about serving duck with a strong smell.

So this restaurant deserves to be given a good 5/5 ⭐ stars. I would also recommend this cafe to my other passengers if I pass through this city again.

Meanwhile for drinks, I need iced drink. I ordered iced mango juice. It's really refreshing even though they don't add any more sugar. Quite sweet from the mango.

There is a hanging chair as a swing in the corner of the cafe. Further adding to the homey atmosphere.

At night, visitors can choose outdoor spots on the rooftop. I think the outdoor location is also good for enjoying sunset time or night time.

In the outdoor area there is minimalist seating made of stone and cement. Planted ornamental garden trees to cool the surrounding area.

Meanwhile, in front of the cafe area, there is a small spot which I think is nice and pleasing to the eye. Like the area feels at home.

Overall I dare to give 5/5 stars⭐ because this cafe has delicious food and is a comfortable place.

Even though it is a small cafe, the food they serve tastes great. That deserves a thumbs up.
