I've made this currywurst many times by cooking with several recipes that I did try all and ended up being delicious as well. Currywurst is a type of sausage that is served with curry ketchup sauce. It is often eaten with French fries or any type of bread. The currywurst have been invented in post-war Berlin. It is popular in many regions of Germany and has become an icon of German Food culture. It's super easy to make currywurst at home. Just grilled bratwurst or German sausage then top with currywurst sauce and sprinkle the curry powder over.

So today I'll upgrade and twist ingredients a bit to another level by making currywurst sauce with lots of spices, fresh garlic, and onions. Then I also add baking soda for the smoothness and to get rid of the acid from the tomato ketchup, which will give a very satisfying texture to every snap bite. Then I served my currywurst with Balsamic Vinegar Sauté Red Onions, Garlic Bread, and Garden Salad.

Sauté Balsamic Vinegar Red Onions are the ideal delicious side dish for Currywurst. Sauté these red onions on the stove for 10 minutes. When red onions are caramelized in Balsamic Vinegar, the vinegar will give a deep flavor of aroma, sweet and sour flavor.

And lastly, I make a quick garlic bread by using a toaster. This toaster garlic bread recipe is so easy. Just buy a loaf of French bread with a soft crust for the best result and I still have leftover garlic bread spread which is made up of butter, roasted garlic, then seasoning with herbs and salt.

It is quick and simple and everyone in my family loves it. Every time we have currywurst, it always brings back our memories of Germany. It's smoky, spicy, aromatic, and slightly sweet. The currywurst sauce is fit well with any type of bratwurst. Such a perfect meal for a cozy lunch or dinner during the weekend.
