Today I was given fish by my uncle, he had finished fishing in the fishing pond and on his fishing schedule today he caught a lot of fish and he shared the results of his fishing with me. The fish he gave him was a goldfish. This goldfish is a freshwater fish that is quite familiar in my area. We usually call it "ikan mas" in Indonesian. As I searched on the internet, goldfish are also called carps which have important economic value and in Indonesia seem to be widespread.
As you can see from the picture, I once again processed it into delicious food. Looks like you already know what the fish that my uncle gave me will become. I process it into anyang fish. Not only chicken, fish can also be processed into anyang. But in my opinion, not all fish are delicious when processed into fish pan. Maybe only freshwater fish are delicious when processed into typical traditional food dishes.
The characteristic of anyang is that the fish or chicken is grilled first, so that it tastes even more delicious and smells good, I grill it with a simple grill like this, where the ingredients being grilled are directly exposed to burnt smoke. I baked it with just sour water and a little salt. Don't use other spices. After that, immediately prepare the ingredients/spices to make this goldfish anyang.
✿ ingredients
✿ First, we make the sliced spices:
- 10 red chilies (sliced)
- 10 small chilies/cayenne pepper (sliced)
- 12 cloves red onion (sliced)
✿ Ingredients for puree:
- 1 lemongrass
- 4 red chilies
- Ginger to taste
- 7 cloves of garlic
✿ Other ingredients:
- Lime
- Roasted coconut 250 gr
- Coconut milk 800 ml
- Roasted rice 100 gr
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
✿ The method for making it is the same as chicken anyang, it's not difficult, it's quite simple. Let's show you how to make it. First, we make the sauce for the anyang fish.
- To make the sauce, put the ground spices in a container then add the chopped ingredients directly, and also add roasted coconut, roasted rice, coriander powder,
- And don't forget to add salt
- Then add coconut milk
- Then stir until evenly mixed, don't forget to taste whether it's not salty enough or just right.
- After that, add lime juice
- And the sauce is ready.
- To serve it, take one grilled fish, place it on a plate/bowl then pour it with the anyang sauce that we made earlier.
- Anyang goldfish is ready to be served.
As you can see, there is no difference in making chicken anyang or fish anyang. There are many people in my family who really like fish, not just chicken fish. I hope you try it at home.
