[ESP-ENG] Torta de Crema de Café / Coffee Cream Cake

Hola queridos amigos de Hive, hoy quiero que conozcan una torta fría y deliciosa con sabor a café. Esta torta consta de un simple biscocho humedecido con almíbar y licor, relleno de una crema de café. Es un postre fino y delicado, ideal para después del almuerzo. A continuación les presento los ingredientes y, el paso a paso para la elaboración de esta rica receta.

Hello dear friends of Hive, today I want you to discover a cold and delicious cake with a coffee flavor. This cake consists of a simple biscuit moistened with syrup and liquor, filled with a coffee cream. It is a fine and delicate dessert, ideal for after lunch. Below I present the ingredients and the step by step to prepare this delicious recipe.

Ingredientes para la crema de café:
• 140 ml de agua fría.
• 2 cucharadas de café instantáneo.
• 100 gr de azúcar.

Ingredientes para el Biscocho:
• 3 huevo.
• 1/2 taza de harina leudante.
• 1/4 taza de azúcar.

Ingredientes para el Almíbar:
• 1/2 taza de azúcar.
• 1 taza de agua.
• 1 cucharada de licor.

Ingredients for the coffee cream:
• 140ml cold water.
• 2 tablespoons of instant coffee.
• 100 gr of sugar.

Ingredients for the Biscuit:
• 3 egg.
• 1/2 cup of self-rising flour.
• 1/4 cup of sugar 1/4.

Ingredients for the Syrup:
• 1/2 cup of sugar.
• 1 cup of water.
• 1 tablespoon of liquor.

Preparación del Biscocho

Paso 1:
Batimos las claras a punto de nieve.

Biscuit Preparation

Step 1:
We beat the egg whites until stiff.

Paso 2:
Incorporamos el azúcar poco a poco a las claras.

Step 2:
Gradually add the sugar to the egg whites.

Paso 3:
Continuamos agregando las yemas hasta integrar bien.

Step 3:
We continue adding the yolks until well integrated.

Paso 4:
Por último incorporamos la harina, previamente cernida y de manera envolvente.

Step 4:
Finally we incorporate the flour previously sifted and in an enveloping way.

Paso 5:
Colocamos la mezcla en el molde y llevamos al horno precalentado a 170 ºC o por 20 minutos hasta que, al introducir un palito de madera este salga completamente limpio. Luego dejamos reposar.

Step 5:
Place the mixture in the mold and take it to the oven preheated to 170 ºC or for 20 minutes until when inserting a wooden stick it comes out completely clean. After this we let it rest.

Preparación de la crema de café.

Paso 1:
En un recipiente, colocamos el azúcar junto con el café y los mezclamos lentamente. Procedemos a vaciar el agua fría dentro de la combinación de azúcar y café. Mezclamos y comenzamos a batir hasta que se forme una crema parecida a un merengue.

Preparation of the coffee cream.

Step 1:
In a container, place the sugar together with the coffee and mix slowly. We proceed to empty the cold water into the combination of sugar and coffee. We mix and begin to beat until a cream similar to a meringue forms.

Preparación del Almíbar

Paso 1:
Colocamos el agua con el azúcar en una olla y llevamos a fuego alto hasta hervir por 5 minutos.

Preparation of Syrup

Step 1:
Place the water with the sugar in a pot and bring to a simmer until it boils for 5 minutes.

Paso 2:
Dejamos reposar en un recipiente y luego agregamos el licor.

Step 2:
Let stand in a container and then add the liquor.

Preparación de la torta.

Paso 1:
Picamos el biscocho a la mitad.

Preparation of the cake.

Step 1:
Cut the biscuit in half.

Paso 2:
Mojamos una brocha de cocina con el almíbar y, humedecemos ambas partes interiores del biscocho.

Step 2:
We wet a kitchen brush with the syrup and moisten both interior parts of the biscuit.

Paso 3:
Rellenamos y cubrimos con la crema de café. Podemos decorar nuestra torta con lluvias de chocolate, granos de café o cerezas como yo lo he hecho.

Step 3:
Fill and cover with the coffee cream. We can decorate our cake with chocolate sprinkles, coffee beans or cherries as I have done.
