Hello my dear Hive friends,
Today I am going to Introduce you how to prepare tempered small dry shrimps.
We have different sizes of shrimps in Sri Lanka. This is the smallest dry shrimps. I like very much this dish.specially I like to take this with white rice and coconut sambol.
Ingredients
50 gr small dry shrimps
1/2 B.Onion slices
1 green chilli cut into pieces
About 7 bird chillies (kochchi)
12 nos of curry leaves
3 pieces of pandon leaves
2 1/2 table spoons of oil
1 1/2 tea spoons of chilli pieces
1/2 tea spoon salt
Method
First wash the shrimps properly and put into a strainer to drain the water.
Now put a pan on the stove and pour oil to the pan.when the oil is heating add B.Onion, green chillies, Bird chillies (very hot), curry leaves and pandon leaves.
Then add chilli pieces and salt.
Mix the ingredients well and add the shrimps. Mix it well and reduce the fire. After few minutes take it down.
This is the dish I love very much.But this is bit spicy. Because I add bird chillies which I took from my garden. It is very hot. Ok friends now let's see how delicious this dish is.

I know some of you don't like spicy dish. But if you like you can prepare this with less spicy and without chillies. Also you can add little bit sugar.
But I like it spicy. Anyway, if you like you can try the way you like.
