Hello ,my dear Hive friends,
How are you.Hope you all are keeping well.
Now I am going to present you with another healthy and delicious dish Dhal and Spinach Curry.
This spinach was taken from my garden.
Ingredients
100 gr Dhal
150 gr Spinach
1/4 B.Onion chopped
2 green chillies chopped
12 nos of curry leaves
2 pieces pandon leaves
1/2 tea spoon chilli powder
Dash of tumaric
1/2 tea spoon salt
150 ml thin coconut milk
100 ml thick coconut milk
Method
First soak the Dhal for 10 minutes.
Wash the spinach and cut it in to big pieces as shown in the picture.
Wash the Dhal properly and put it to a pan.Add b.Onion, green chillies, curry leaves and pandon leaves.
Add chilli powder, tumaric and salt.
Add thin coconut milk and mix it well and keep it on the fire.
When the gravy is redcued add thick coconut milk.
After few minutes add Spinach and reduce the fire .keep it only one minute on the fire as keeping too long will take off the green colour of the spinach. Now the curry is ready.
Transfer it to a curry bowl and send it to the table with a spoon.
Dear folks,
Spinach has vitamin A,C,K Iron, Folate and potassium. And it is full of fibre.
N.B
Eating too much spinach can cause gas ,cramping and abdominal pain.
