Hello my dear Hive friends,
Today I am going to demonstrate one of the famous dishes in my country.
We call it kankun in my language, but there are several names in English.
Water morning glory,water spinach, river spinach and water convolvulus.
This dish can be prepared in many ways. But today I am going to do Garlic Kankun.
Ingredients
300 gr Kankun
15 gr small dried shrimps
6 cloves of Garlic chopped
1/2 B.Onion in pieces
1 tea spoon chilli pieces
5 whole dry chillies cut in pieces
1/2 tea spoon salt
1/2 tea spoon sugar
1 1/2 tea spoons of corn flour
1 1/2 table spoon water
1 table spoon of soya sauce
3 table spoons of oil
Method
Wash the kankun well and keep it in a strainer to drain the water well.
Cut the stems and separate the leaves.
Now we are going to make special sauce for it. Take a small bowl and put the soya sauce ,sugar,corn flour and water and mix it well. Now the sauce is ready.
Keep a pan on the fire and pour oil in to the pan. Then add garlic and mix it till its golden brown.
Now add B.Onion, big chilli pieces, small chilli pieces and salt.
Mix it well and add small dried shrimps and mix it well again.
Now add the kankun stems and mix.
Finally add the kankun leaves and the prepared sauce and mix well.
When the mixing is over take it down before it becomes brown colour.
Now you have a readymade tasty dish to serve.

This delicious dish consists of vitamin A, C, folate, iron and calcium.
Kankun is a powerhouse of nutrients that benefit the body ,skin and the brain.
