We Received the Sweetest "Pasalubong" Last Christmas from a Family: Cadbury Fingers, Chocolate Bars and Biscuit Coated with Chocolate

Do you like chocolate? To the point that you'll buy it if you crave it and even if it's kind of expensive? As for me, I like it, but not to that extent. I like to eat it if there's a chocolate available in the fridge, like, for example, when someone has given it to us or something. I like to eat it, and I will eat it if it's available. But once it's all gone, I will forget it all and will never eat it again - not unless if someone gives some to us again.

Yes, I like to eat it, I love the feeling of it when it melts in my mouth and its taste that lasts really long. Especially Toblerone, Cadbury, Milka, or Kisses - these expensive chocolates just hit differently, you know, especially if they are from abroad that was given by relatives that had sent via "Balikbayan Boxes." We are so lucky to be given such gifts from them, and I am always grateful. Because of them, I can eat those chocolates.

You see, these chocolates are a luxury to me that I had to think not just thrice but a lot of times if I will buy it or not. And you know I always ended up not buying anything because I felt like my money would only get wasted even though I'd get to enjoy it. Luckily - errr i mean sadly, I can't always convince myself to reward myself with this expensive chocolate. I like it, but not to the point that I will buy it myself. I am already happy if I can eat it once or twice a year.

One of the convincing reasons for me not to buy chocolate was chocolate can trigger that "post nasal drip," and I hate that. You know, like a watery mucus that will drip in my throat. Experiencing that post-nasal drip is like coming back to the nightmare I had back when I was hospitalized because of severe nosebleeding. I often mistake that watery mucus dripping in my throat as blood, and you know what's next after that. Trauma was triggered, so here's a panic attack. I'm just glad, though, that I can now control myself whenever I experience that postnasal drip.

Anyhow, these chocolates I shared here are what we had last week. It was a pasalubong from Australia, given to Mommy D by her nephew. Her nephew's whole family is here in the Philippines right now having their vacation, and I'm not sure how long they plan to stay here. Mommy D, received these chocolates together with two perfumes for Mommy F and Mommy D when she went to their house last Christmas. She didn't spend her whole day there though, just until 3 pm, lol. She's like Cinderella, she had to go home early if possible coz if not, Mommy F will really get mad - I mean, I can understand Mommy D, she also want Mommy D to celebrate Christmas with us here at home.

And with all the chocolate Mommy D received, I super like these Cadbury Fingers, which are crunchy biscuits coated with milk chocolate. It's the best and really addictive. I can eat a box of this, seriously, it's sweet, and the taste of chocolate is real and pure. Sadly, we consumed it all immediately, huhu. I need a hundred boxes of this! It taste that really good. Seriously!

We also had that big bar of Belgian milk chocolate, this one's really hard to eat because it is too hard. Lol. Still, we enjoyed it. But if I have to choose between this and Toblerone, I'll choose the latter. That's the chocolate brand that I like the most. It's expensive for me, I'm not sure, though, if some consider the price of it expensive. Lol.

And lastly was this, it is also like a biscuit coated with chocolate. This one's so good too. The chocolate immediately melted once it was out from the fridge. So it's best to consume immediately. Your fingers will get dirty if you eat this, though. The chocolate coated into it will stick to your fingers. Well, we can just lick it if ever so, make sure you have clean hands if you eat this. Lol.

Let me also share this one too, by the way, it's also a gift from Mommy F Friends. I'm just glad my oldies have a lot of friends, lol.

So what about you? What's the worst you can do for chocolate? ┏(^0^)┛

I am one of those who buys expensive chocolate just for pleasure, I love chocolate. Although when I have a boyfriend it doesn't trigger me as much as when I'm single 🤣, I guess chocolate is a substitute for love for me.

I'm allergic and chocolate was forbidden to me since I was a child but I couldn't heed that prohibition, but I've never had the runny nose thing happen to me after eating chocolate fortunately, if it will happen to me what happens to you, I don't think I would eat it often so I understand you.

Everything looks delicious, enjoy as long as you feel good. @ruffatotmeee 🥰

Haha, I can totally understand you though, chocolate is just so good that it can become like a cure for people. If imI don't have a situation, I'm sure I'll buy chocolate like you for pleasure 🤤🤤✨

I can buy chocolate also, but if it's expensive, I will wait until there's a sale on it. You know sometimes, they sell it for buy one takes one. 😬😌

Ah yeah, lalo yong mejo malapit na mag expire no? Kaso walang shop na may ganyan samin, lol. Pero thankful na din ako na wala at least I won't be tempted to buy. Lolol
