Yes alot of the time me and the boy give the taters faces and names before we sacrifice them to the gods of water, Hot oil, or Fire. Sometimes we even let them have one last roll outside before they go to meet their maker.
Then they get ritually washed and skinned alive. Who says vegetables are boring?
Vegetables are never boring, but then I'm very into them.
That's the funniest thing I've seen anyone do with potatoes. I highly approve. 😂
They deserve respect! Most of our meals are veggies, I'm far from vegetarian but as a rule we consume veg and grains, pulses etc. I try to encourage the lad to eat natural. Can't kill an animal every week and survive so meat is a bonus, not a staple.
Not to mention you can do so many things with basic veg. Carrots, potato,oats,wheat,etc. Can make breakfast lunch and dinner with one vegetable
I totally agree with you. I'm not vegetarian, but meat is a small percentage of what I eat for a very long time. I love beans and lentils. You can do just about anything with vegetables in my mind.
Do faces get drawn on other vegetables and do they get names too?
