Hello, lovely people on the hive. This week, I tried a Japanese restaurant in the city. I have recently been fanning over sushi. Still learning how to hold the chopsticks right hehe. But I am quite amazed by the flavors.
So, in today's post I am sharing my experience at Daily Sushi. This is a Japanese restaurant located in Jaya Nagar, Bangalore, India. They have several other branches in the city too.
The place has a very classy and chic look with most of the interior being white. They have a live sushi counter where you can see the chefs preparing your order. This was a new experience for me. It was the first time I watched someone roll rice like that xD. The kids were pretty fascinated too and that is when I clicked the picture below.
We had a lavish spread of different kinds of sushi. That's when I learned the difference between them as well. We had the Uramaki, Maki, California Roll, and Nigiri. These were served alongside wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce.
I will start with my favorite from the lot and that is the Prawn Nigiri Sushi. There were 6 pieces and it was priced at INR 600 (7.25 USD).
Next we had the Asparagus Tempura Maki Roll (Uramaki, 8 Pcs). This is yet another masterpiece I’d definitely recommend. Although it was veg, it was a brilliant one. It was priced at INR 390 (4.73 USD).
Below is the Ebi Prawn Tempura Maki Roll (Uramaki, 8 pcs). Looks quite similar to the Asparagus Roll in the previous pictures. This one will not disappoint. It was priced at INR 390 (4.73 USD).
Here we have the Rainbow Maki Roll Set (Hosomaki Combo). This contains 12 pieces and was priced at INR 420 (5.09 USD).
Here we have the Tofu Sando Roll Sushi. This is priced at INR 350 (4.22 USD) for 6 pieces. This is more on the blander side.
Next up is the Egg Tamago Nigiri Sushi and this is priced at INR 300 (3.62 USD). There’s scrambled egg sandwiched and it adds to the flavour.
Here’s one of my favourites from the lot - the Tofu Kimchi Ramen (left). This one was perfectly spicy and very flavourful compared to ramen I’ve tried at most other places. It is priced at INR 500 (6.03 USD).
Vegetable Ramen (right) is priced at INR 360 (4.34 USD). This was an average bowl, not a fan.
There were various other starters too like the -
Teriyaki Tofu Yakitori (skewers) - INR 200 (2.41 USD)
Spicy BBQ Mushroom Yakitori (skewers) - INR 180 (2.17 USD)
Teriyaki Chicken Yakitori (skewers) - INR 220 (2.65 USD)
The teriyaki chicken was beautiful. It’s definitely one to try here.
That’s all for this post. If you got till the end of the post, thank you for reading! Do bro a vote and a comment if you liked it. And of course, a reblog if you loved it. ✨
I like the california roll and the Tempura among them. Like it extra spicy, hihi.
wow the place looks amazing, beautiful ambiance and cleanliness.
All of the food looks delicious, eye catching. This food taste totally different and I am not sure if you can have it that easily, I am talking about people of subcontinent, they are more into spices. I have experienced Sushi and I liked the California rolls a lot with Wasabi sauce. But my other colleagues and friends, no one likes it hehehe

That restaurant is very neat and clean and ohhh the food they all looks yummy😋 that I wish I can grab some to eat😋😂😂.
Heh. Looks delicious once again.
Personally, I wouldn't fret too much about the chopsticks. If it's able to pick up the food, it's correct - at least that's my own philosophy. 🤣
