Ginger | 1inch |
Green chillies | 2 |
Coriander leaves | 4-5 stems |
Coriander powder | 1 tbsp |
Salt | 1/2 tbsp(as per taste) |
Aamchur/Green mango powder | 1/2 tbsp |
METHOD
Boil potatoes in pressure cooker or pot. Meanwhile, in a bowl take flour and knead it by mixing water slowly slowly, until it reaches this point. ⬇️
Cover it and keep it aside for 15 - 20 mins.
Cut the onions, green chillies, ginger and coriander and keep it aside. Once the potatoes are cooked take them out of water and allow it cool down. Mash the potatoes and mix the above mentioned veggies and herbs thoroughly.
Divide the dough in four parts and roll out to 4 inch diameter.
Stuff it with the potato mixture and seal.
Start rolling it out but very minimal pressure should be applied otherwise the stuffing will come out. Sprinkle some dry flour and continue the process.
Place a pan on gas, put it on medium to high heat.Apply some clarified butter/ghee on pan.
Place the parantha/bread let it cook for 2 mins and flip it, wait for 2 mins flip and apply some ghee on this side too and flip again. And it's ready.
Serve it with some chutney/sauce yogurt. In India, we serve it with curd and pickle.
I here served it with green bell pepper pickle. Do check it out. Link shared ⬇️
