Hello food lovers. How are you? Minal aizinwalfaizin apologized physically and mentally to Muslims.

Hari Raya is a day that Muslims have been waiting for. After 1 month of fasting, holding back lust, hunger and thirst, now the day of victory has arrived.

On holidays we will keep in touch with our family. Visit each other and apologize to each other. Every time before the holiday, we have started to prepare various kinds of cakes for the holidays. One of them is the keukarah cake (nest bird cake). Not everyone can make this cake. The process is very complicated, it is rare to find people who can make keukarah (nest bird cake). Especially in this modern era. Everything is really practical, we just have to go to the minimarket or buy it on the side of the road. However, the cakes sold before the holiday are Tanggo, Astor, Kacang, or Nastar cakes. It is very rare to find typical Aceh cakes like keukarah.

Most people like it, it's sweet and crunchy. Very good to eat with tea or coffee water. Within a year, this cake is usually made twice, namely Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Most people will buy or order with someone else.

Sometimes it is also used at weddings as a delivery cake for the bride. Most people will buy or order with someone else. In my house, every holiday, my mother always makes this cake. She will make this cake for us and for my aunt. they can't make it themselves. Even though they have studied for years. However, the results are still not satisfactory. To make this cake, a special technique is needed, it requires hand strength when making it. I myself have often studied, but have not succeeded.

I will share what and how to make cakes keukarah.

Materials needed

  1. 6 Canned rice flour milk as smooth as possible
  2. Sugar 1 can of milk
  3. 1 liters of water
