Good day fellow Foodie Bees! This is my first post here in Hive Blog and I want to share with you a recipe that will surely give a twist to your meal if you're a rice person or loves rice in breakfast. Withour further ado, I present to you Garlic Fried Rice!

This recipe is very easy, consumes few ingredients that are always a must in our fridge, and will give an exciting flavor to your leftover rice.

For the ingredients:
3 cups of Cooked Rice (You may use leftover rice from yesterday's dinner)
3 cloves of Garlic (Minced)
1 pinch of Salt (You may adjust this according to your preference)
1 and 1/2 tablespoon of Cooking Oil (Here, I used vegetable oil but you may use olive oil)

We start by heating our oil in a pan using medium heat.

Upon getting our oil to glistering hot, adjust the fire into low heat and fry the garlic until its color turn into golden brown.

Once the garlic is turning to golden brown color, you may set aside some of it for garnish later. Add the salt after setting aside some of the fried garlic. This will season the oil that will coat the rice and will lessen the possibility of getting our garlic from being burnt.

Once the salt has melted, you may now mix in the rice into the pan.

At this point, you just need to mix our ingredients in manner that the rice grains will be coated by our salted garlic oil.

Just stir fry the rice until it's evenly coated with oil, its color will slightly change.

After a minute or two, we're done and ready to serve.

I paired it up with Longganisa, a local delicacy here in the Philippines, and a sunny side up egg (my wife is allergic to egg, so the egg is only for me). Don't forget to top it up with the fried garlic we set aside earlier.
