Domplinas es una especie de pan que preparamos con harina de trigo, es una masa suave que no necesita muchos ingredientes. Las domplinas se puede freír o asar, en otras regiones de nuestro país como Guiria estado Sucre al freirlas le llaman flota, no importa como le llamen lo que si les garantizo que de cualquiera de las formas que la preparen son deliciosas tanto para desayunar como para cenar. En mi casa les encantan dulcitas y sin relleno acompañadas de café con leche o un chocolate caliente al final de una tarde lluviosa, hacemos de ese momento un placer.
Domplinas is a kind of bread that we prepare with wheat flour, it is a soft dough that does not need many ingredients. Domplinas can be fried or roasted, in other regions of our country like Guiria, Sucre state, when fried they are called "flota", it doesn't matter what they call it, I guarantee that either way they are delicious for breakfast or dinner. In my house they love them sweet and without filling accompanied by coffee with milk or a hot chocolate at the end of a rainy afternoon, we make that moment a pleasure.
Ingredientes
6 tazas de harina de trigo.
1 de azúcar.
2 cucharadas de sal.
2 tazas de agua.
Ingredients
6 cups of wheat flour.
1 cup sugar.
2 tablespoons salt.
2 cups water.
Preparación.
La preparación es sencilla, primeramente colocamos el agua en un bol al cual añadiremos el azúcar y la sal hasta disolver totalmente.
A continuación agregamos la harina de trigo progresivamente hasta formar una masa manejable que terminaremos de amasar en un mesón, al que le espolvoreamos harina de trigo y amasamos hasta que no se pegue de las manos y que su consistencia sea suave.
Ya al tener este punto la masa se deja en reposo por una hora para proceder a hacer las domplinas. Se divide la masa en 12 porciones, se elaboran unas bolas y con los dedos aplastamos para darle forma circular, ya están listas para su cocción en mi caso hice la mitad asadas y la otra frita, así que active el budare y la paila con aceite para cocinar mis domplinas.
Preparation.
The preparation is simple, first we place the water in a bowl to which we will add the sugar and salt until completely dissolved.
Then we add the wheat flour progressively until we form a manageable dough that we will finish kneading on a work surface, to which we sprinkle wheat flour and knead until it does not stick to the hands and its consistency is smooth.
Once the dough has reached this point, let it rest for an hour before proceeding to make the domplinas. Divide the dough into 12 portions, make balls and flatten them with your fingers to give them a circular shape, they are ready to be cooked, in my case I made half of them roasted and the other half fried, so I activated the budare and the pan with oil to cook my domplinas.
