The BEST empanadas in Caracas! First time visiting CARUPANADAS (ENG-SPA) 💛🇻🇪

This next week I’ll be starting a diet dedicated to treat some severe allergies I’ve been having. So, not in a very responsible way, this weekend I’ve decided to eat all the things that I love to eat and I won’t be able for a considerable amount of time😭 one of my favorite dishes in the whole world is the empanada, a traditional meal in my country and all around Latin America. I’ve been hearing a lot from a place called Carúpanadas, a lot of reviews from influencers, even some friends, so I’ve decided to visit it!

Everyone knows that the best empanadas are at the beach, not the city. Caracas may have good empanadas but they’re not better than the oriental ones, for example. The concept of Carúpanadas is to bring the flavor and the dough of the empanada from Oriente to the capital and, spoiler alert, they’ve accomplished it!

In Caracas you can only buy empanadas in the morning but in Carúpanadas you can buy one til 8 pm🤯 they have a lot of variety flavors like shrimp, pepitonas, carupanera blood sausage, or all of this combined if you wish. They even offer one of sausage and Kraft American simple cheese (I ate one of those). They also offer traditional flavors such as cheese, cheese and banana, cheese and beans, chicken, shredded meat and they have both oriental dough and pork rind dough.

The place was so cute! It has paintings and murals all around. It's an open-air place and it was a little bit hot, but it helped with the "beachy" sensation😂 The personal is very kind and almost all the tables were full, it's a very popular place right now!

It's also pet friendly! So I met a fury friend 😺

Definitely, one of the best empanadas I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. I felt like I was eating empanadas in Margarita. I also ordered a coffee and a mango, passionfruit and pineapple juice and they were delicious too! They were also playing songs by Juan Luis Guerra so it definitely felt like home💖

La próxima semana comenzaré una dieta dedicada a tratar algunas alergias graves que he tenido. Así que, de forma no muy responsable, este fin de semana he decidido comer todas las cosas que me encantan y que no podré hasta dentro de un tiempo considerable😭 uno de mis platos favoritos en todo el mundo es el empanada, una comida tradicional en mi país y en toda América Latina.

He estado escuchando mucho de un lugar llamado Carúpanadas, muchas reseñas de influencers, incluso de algunos amigos, ¡así que decidí visitarlo!

Todo el mundo sabe que las mejores empanadas están en la playa, no en la ciudad. Puede que Caracas tenga buenas empanadas pero no son mejores que las orientales, por ejemplo. El concepto de Carúpanadas es traer el sabor y la masa de la empanada de Oriente a la capital y, spoiler alert, ¡lo logran demasiado!

En Caracas, por lo general, solo puedes comprar empanadas en la mañana pero en Carúpanadas puedes comprar una hasta las 8 pm🤯 tienen mucha variedad de sabores como camarones, pepitonas, morcilla carupanera, o todo esto combinado si lo deseas. Incluso ofrecen uno de salchicha y queso facilistas (me comí uno de esos). También ofrecen sabores tradicionales como queso, queso y plátano, queso y caraota, pollo, carne mechada y tienen tanto masa oriental como masa de chicharrón.

El lugar es muy lindo. Tiene pinturas y murales por todas partes. Es un lugar al aire libre y hacía un poco de calor, pero ayudó con la sensación "playera" 😂 El personal es muy amable y casi todas las mesas estaban llenas, es un lugar muy popular en este momento.

También es pet friendly, así que conocí a un amigo peludo😺

Definitivamente, una de las mejores empanadas que he comido en toda mi vida. Me sentí como si estuviera comiendo empanadas en Margarita. También pedí un café y un zumo de mango, maracuyá y piña y ¡también estaban riquísimos! Había música de Juan Luis Guerra así que me sentí como en mi casa💖
