Tasting Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar for the First Time

Hi Foodies Bee Hive Community. I've been to a lot of gastronomic soirees lately due to the holidays. I've partaken so many gastric delights but somehow I felt compelled to write my first post here abouty first time experience of tasting Dr. Pepper's Zero Sugar Cherry Cola drink.

Well, actually this compulsion stemmed from seeing this particular soda for sale on Lander's store and available only per box. I don't want to buy a whole box and then I'll end up not liking it, so the wanting was prolonged for like 6 months until I saw that it was available on retail on an Earl of Sandwich resto.

It is quite pricey for a soda but my curiosity at last can be quenched. So I bought one...finally. The economist in me just won't let me allow to buy the whole box unless somebody recommends it with an undeniable enthusiasm. So far no one had made that enthusiastic recommendation.

Pssshhh. Out came the sound of the fizz as I pushed and pulled the lid. This is it, the moment i have been waiting for has arrived. The soda can is finally slowly approaching my curious lips and throat.

They touched.

Ahem. Ahem. I coughed a little.

Thank God I didnt buy the whole box. The taste is like a mild cough syrup except this one made me cough a little. It was only really bad the first time. The succeeding sips were not that bad anymoreas you can taste the cherry flavor more distinctly.

Well, at least the longing and yearning has finally been put to an end. It doesn't matter if I liked it or not but it's like a difficult question from my soul had been answered through experiencing it. For now, Coke Zero is still the best zero sugar drink for me so best to stick to it. I don't want to say anything more.

My soul is at ease now. My wondering has ceased. Until I get another question from my soul is when I will probably post again here.

Thank you for reading. Happy holidays to everyone 🎄
