Good day @foodiebeehive peeps I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today Ash and I dropped lil miss 4 off at nan's in the morning as they were heading out and it gave us some spare time before I started work and Ash had to run off to her official council duties. We stopped by this awesome Cafe as it seemed busy.
Unfortunately they didn't have bacon and eggs on the menu only pre made foccacias and toasties. As I felt like a little something more filling we headed back into Caroline Springs where we noticed they have opened up a Jolly Miller.
When we arrived we got a table and Unfortunately they informed us that there was a delay in the kitchen and it would be an hour wait. As I started work in an hour I couldn't wait that long.
I ended up with what I didn't want.... a foccacia...
It was toasted and served relatively quickly which was awesome. Ash ordered a bacon and egg roll no sauce. Unfortunately this is where things get a little sour.
Ash's roll came with tomato reddish and she didn't like the taste of it. My chicken and avo was soggy as it contained too much mayonnaise. The lettuce went a little too limp due to all the moisture which was a shame.
Our coffees were really nice though, but a waste of $29 which isn't too much to complain about.
At least we got to spend some time together before the rat race!
