Sea mustard vegetable with tempeh and bean sprouts

Vacations don't only have to go to famous and hidden tourist attractions, there are many new things we need to try to make our holiday impression even more colorful. For example, about culinary, every region or every country of course there are special foods that we cannot find in the area where we live so far. Yesterday when we visited one of the beaches in Aceh City, precisely at the beach at the end of Lokhnga, we found so much grass growing which the local people named Sawi Laut. And the most special of all the beaches we have visited, Sawi Laut is only on Lokhnga Beach.

My husband and I were so enthusiastic to pick these sea mustards from small to large sizes. This sea mustard is a creeping plant, and can be processed into delicious dishes. Picking mustard greens in the breezy breeze under the pine trees on the edge of the sea at the end of Lokhnga, made a different sensation on our vacation this time. And because my husband and I are on vacation in Aceh City and don't bring a lot of equipment, then I will process this sea mustard into a simple food but very tasty to enjoy, especially during holidays like today.

And to answer all the curiosity of all Hive friends, I will share a simple recipe for processing sea mustard, which I cook together with tempeh and bean sprouts.

Materials needed are :


1. Sea mustard

2. 1 pack of tempeh

3. 100 grams of bean sprouts
4. Large red chili to taste

5. 2 cloves of red onion

6. 1 clove of garlic

7. Half the tomatoes

8. Salt to taste
9. Sugar to taste



How to make :


1. The sea mustard is cut off the roots and washed thoroughly, because the sea mustard still has a lot of sand attached

2. Tempe in diced

3. Bean sprouts are washed until clean

4. Shallots, garlic, red chilies and tomatoes are washed and coarsely ground (because we don't have any facilities and we brought a blender, 😁)

5. After that, stir-fry the ground spices until fragrant

6. Then enter the tempeh pieces, cook for a while and give a little water

7. After that, add the bean sprouts, stir briefly and add salt to taste

8. After that, add the mustard greens, add a little sugar, mix well and taste if the taste is right or not

10. Stir-fry mustard greens, pieces of tempeh and bean sprouts can be enjoyed.
