Hello world!!!
I am Maral, Graphic Designer who loves food. I discovered this community because of @delcarmat who is a friend of mine and has increible illustrator art in his account.
In this my first post I'm sharing with you all my persian roots with the recipe of an easy naan or "tortilla de trigo" since in my opinión are pretty similar. I hope you like it. ❤🤞
Naan Recipe for 8 units of naan
250 g simple flour
1/4 tea spoon of salt
1/2 tea spoon of Royal powder
1 full spoon of oil
125 ml warm water
- Mix the dry elements
- The add the water and mix everything.
- Even out the dough and knead on the counter for at least 5 minutes.
- Let it rest with a cloth that covers it for a while. Then separate into approximately 8 small buns and stretch them with a rolling pin.
- We heat a pan and cook each one round and round for less than 1 minute each bread.
- Cover all the cooked naans with a cloth in order to avoid them get dry.
Enjoy it with a delicious hummus or guacamole 😉
