Lined up with cafes, coffee, and restaurants, canggu will lure any foodie into a food paradise filled with innovation and also delectable selection of cuisine. There are so many ambrosia any foodie can pick at a very reasonable price. And even if you’re not a foodie, the food scene in Canggu will transform you into a foodie through and through. The selection of food also speaks of the scene in canggu which is diverse and also permissive. Today, I will take you exploring some of the food scenes in Canggu that probably can inspire you as to where to go when you’re visiting this island of the gods.
First, let me take you to breakfast
Breakfast is kind of a big deal in Bali. The selection of food will really make you anticipate the next day waking up to an amazing plate of food that’ll boost your mood and brighten up your day. There are really two places that I can personally recommend that you can see why I enjoy them so much.
Rise and Shine With Their Breakfast that’ll wake you up and boost your mood
Living up to their name, the food in their cafe will definitely make your day and wake you up. They have a selection of western breakfast and a healthy one with a variety of side dishes you can pick. My favorite would be their bagel sandwich with yummy cream cheese and also cassava chips and a slice of bacon. If you really love bacon, you can definitely order more just for 15k for a few slices. It’s a great deal considering the plating, taste, and the amazing service from the staff. They definitely want to make you come back for more every morning and it’s one of my favorites that I want to keep it hidden but also want to tell the world about it.
Green Spot Cafe and Their Yummy Full English Breakfast
I have mentioned this place in my coffee shop scene but their food should not be missed. By now, I have heard from more than 5 people who recommended that place to eat not only because it’s closer to the co-working space but because their food and price are really reasonable & palatable. It’s a cafe and restaurant in the mixed area located at Batu mejan canggu, just a couple minutes away from echo beach. They have a variety of breakfast menus from healthy to a hearty filling breakfast like the yummy English breakfast. But if you are a health nut, you can definitely go for their healthier option.
Now, let’s go for lunch!
The heat in Bali really makes you want to skip lunch and straight to dinner but, depending on what time you wake up, you can always enjoy a variety of brunch and great lunches at one of the cafe’s in around Canggu. Personally, lunch to me is a bit of an appetizer before doing the main course at night which is always an awesome experience. I discovered some great lunch places because of the coworking community lunch but I also found one one of my own that I always love and enjoy.
Othree Beach Bar
Do not be fooled about the name, though it has a bar on its name, they are a great place to enjoy lunch. You can watch people surf, enjoy the breezy air and watch the surfer catching the waves while enjoying a bowl of curry or pasta. Whatever you fancy, I definitely recommend their curry because even in the heat, it still tastes fresh and awesome.
Hoi An by Me Vui, let’s go international
The Avocado Factory, All things avocado that will still help you buy a house
Some of you may be familiar with the saying that because millenials buy too much avocado toast, they can’t buy a house. But this avocado factory with their varied avocado menu will still help you save some dimes.
Just like its name, they sell all things avocado. If you really love avocado this is your place. They serve avocado toast with salmon. I discovered this place because of my coworking lunch and I quite like the place. Their price is really reasonable that you can probably spend less than 15$ meals with drinks included.

It’s dinner time!
Dinner is something I am most excited about. From a mellow sunset to a lively night with live music, colorful lamps, canggu transforms into something else. You can either have a fine dining with a romantic vibe or enjoy a plate with people around and call it a day.

Ramen Hamatora
Genius Bistro, Reasonably priced 3 Full Course Meal
Pampering yourself with food doesn’t have to be expensive. In Bali for less than 15$ you can get a full course meal with a palatable meal. I discovered a place called Genius Bistro where they serve French cuisine and a wide range of wine. From the appetizer to their dessert, everything is simply to die for. You can pick a seat next to the garden or inside the restaurant for more people to dine in. I truly recommended this place because they are really lip-smacking and just worth every penny spent.
Craving some snacks?
Dang, Cookies, Who you got you smiling like that?
I discovered dang cookies when I craved something sweet. They don’t have as many selections as the other cookie place but theirs was really worth the money spent and especially if you like chocolate and nutty flavors, they got you covered. After eating their cookies, it’ll definitely make you smile just like what they mentioned in the box where they mentioned, who got you smiling like that? It’s the dang cookies.
Those are some selections of meals that you can have in a day. Obviously, it’s one place for breakfast, lunch, dinner but if you can stomach everything, that’s also okay. But even so, it took me more than 2 weeks to discover all these places because sometimes, I keep coming back to the same place just because I had a fairly good experience the first time I went there.

I’d definitely recommend you to pack your bag and book a one way flight to Bali. It’s once again re-opening and everything is more alive than before. The weather is also great and we’re entering one of the hottest days with infrequent rain. And if you manage to land, all the scrumptious food awaits !

That's a very rich breakfast, if you know what I mean. I'm used of seeing only salads, eggs, and vegetables eaten at breakfast which are usually just a small portion, but that one looks like a great way to start the day with new powers!
Yeah, that's really typical breakfast in Bali and it's also in reasonable price. So, for a vacation and living like kings, this place is amazingly reasonable.
