RE: Caramelized Fig, Feta, and Biltong Pasta: A Quick Lunch Recipe

It wasn’t fun. As like you say… I still needed to hike further. I managed.
My right elbow is still very painful. All black and yellow now. What means it is healing well. One more week and all is forgotten. I am resting. Did go for a few short walks, to keep moving. Don't want to seize up the muscles.
Today and tomorrow are rainy days, so rest…

I like mowing, just for that. It smells amazing. Especially now it is still rather wet. Finished with it all yesterday as I also had to weedwack some areas and the edges.

Thank you so much, on it 😊
Have a wonderful day 👋🏻

Pure nostalgia, for me at least, the smell of freshly cut grass. Always reminds me of my grandfather and his beer after cutting the grass. Sweet memories.

Oh no, that is the worst. The healing and the changing of color, but as you say sure signs of recovery! I myself had a similar injury, I hurt something in my hand in the gym, and it has been three weeks I think that I have been unable to go back. Frustrating.

Anyways, have a splendid new week!

Oh that sounds like lovely memories. Treasure them 😊

As long as it heals and you see signs of it. Is good. Is your hand better now?
Thank you, have a wonderful week too 👋🏻

The hand is healed now, thank you so much! I am obviously a bit scared to overtrain it again, so I am being extra cautious. How are you after your accident? I hope also healed or at least healing! Keep well.

That’s good to hear. I understand the worry.

My wounds are healed. Just my right elbow…. If I bump on something it hurts still. Just the sofa with sitting or turning in bed is enough to 😖 but it looks much better. So almost healed.
Keep well too.

Oh that is the problem right? It is those small movements and small bumps that remind you of the pain. And the older I get the longer my injuries take to heal. Such is life I guess! I hope that your injuries heal completely before the winter colds take over!

Such is life indeed and i soooo notice the getting older bit hahaha 🤣 especially now i am mid 40s. You are still a bit younger… 😉
Thank you kindly.

Yes, indeed! But I am approaching those years as well, even though not there yet. But I am lucky that I have people and support around me that keep me young of heart and spirit. Relationships are so important to keep you grounded and youthful.

But those relationships and groundedness don't help injuries heal faster though haha.

I hope the rest of the week will be good and not too cold!
