Interesting Team lunches at work

in Foodies Bee Hive7 months ago (edited)

Last Tuesday was the first of the new idea of having a lunch together as a team and taking it in turns to prepare the lunch for plus minus 8 people.

Set up in one of our board rooms

Pancakes

A variety of fruit and marmalades, nutella etc for the sweet tooth.

Bread, butter and cheese

Avocado

Rocket

This week a selection of cold meat and salad served with tacos. Also some delicious traditional kroketten

Cooked mince and Chicken

This is quite an undertaking as there are several requirements as some are gluten intolerant and others very health conscious.

The results have been excellent and everyone appeared to be satified that their tastes had been met.

My turn to prepare is coming up in a week or two and I'm hoping to prepare a hot pot

I will share my efforts. I believe a hot pot should go down well. Not sure yet about my meat and vegetable ingredients.

Hey @leelektrik, of course, pannenkoeken is a must in the Netherlands, it would have been so difficult to choose from all those fillings! The Dutch people are amazing, and companies really look after their staff by encouraging get-togethers like this. Here in SA, 'team-building' happens once a year, if at all!
I particularly enjoyed Stamp-pot with smoked sausages when I was there, Dean made it.
A hot pot sounds good!
Enjoy the rest of you weekend Lee.
