Hello Friends...
It is an accompaniment for sweets and desserts called Sweet Chili Jam, having a consistency similar to jam you can use it to cover delicious cookies or toast and enjoy a sweet and sour snack in the afternoon accompanied by a refreshing drink. Without further ado, let's get started....
- 125 ml of Vinegar
- 125 ml of Water
- 125 grm of Sugar
- 300 grm of Sweet Chili
- 1 Package of Cookies of Your Choice
- A Pinch of Pepper
We are going to start chopping the seasonings in small pieces of 1 cm in diameter, once chopped remember to wash them well and remove all possible seeds from the peppers. This recipe can also change the quantities to your preference or play with the ingredients, you can change the sweet peppers for red and green peppers or simply use the sweet peppers without the seasonings.
With the help of a measuring cup, we are going to mix the 125 ml of vinegar with the sugar to take to a bowl and cook over medium heat, leave to cook for approximately 15 minutes.
When the vinegar and sugar are cooking, a syrup will start to form, at that moment add the chopped chili bell pepper and water. Let it cook for another 20 minutes until it starts to dry and the liquid in the pan becomes thicker and thicker, then remove from the pan and let it rest in a sterilized jar to preserve.
Remember that, being sweet, its texture will depend on its temperature, so it is advisable to pour it directly into a pot at room temperature, store it in the refrigerator and serve it at cold temperature.
If you have any questions or suggestions I will be more than grateful to read them and answer them. Thank you very much for reading me, I hope to continue sharing with you more recipes here.
A big hug to all of you...

I had not seen this preparation with sweet ajíes, I have prepared it and I have eaten it with red peppers and it is delicious. I am sure that its flavor is peculiar and delicious. Good post, although it would be ideal if you present it in a bilingual way in the future so that it reaches a wider audience, as well as that you make a comment at the beginning, as an introduction and talk about the recipe, for example, when did you learn to make it , on what occasions do you make it, etc. Welcome. Greetings.
Bienenido. Saludos.
