I am back again yours truely @john0928 . It was a very happy morning for me because I have no classses today and for tommorrow and I finally recovered my sleeppiness in the last few days.
So as for today I do what I really missed to do ,that is have a comfortable seat at our balcony sipping my coffee while watching my new series watchlist in netflix.
Maybe after that I will go the market to buy some groceries. While preparing I am deciding what will be our dish for this coming lunch. My father suggested that he is craving for "chopsuey" and and it's been a long time since we've been able to cook something like this, and usually only during occasions. When I already prepared I already go to the market.
Chopsuey
Ingredients:
- Onion and Garlic
- Pork and Pork Cubes
- Soy sauce and Oyster Sauce
- Sugar (optional)
- Sayote
- Carrot
- Sweet Corn
- Brocolli
- Napa Cabbage
- Cannonball Cabbage
- Green bean
- Bell pepper and Balck Pepper
Cooking begins...
For the first step chop the onion and garlic into small pieces. After that wash all the vegetables and slice it into small bite sizes. The sayote should be cut into a thin square shape. For the green bean position it to a straight then slice it into a diagonal direction .
In addition for the carrots slice it into a lengthwise to make it slab like then cut it into a thin match sticks.
For the cannon ball cabbage slice it into eight and for the napa cabbage just slice its leaf into half.
For the Brocolli just tear apart its every branch and if the branch are that big slice it until you get your prefered bite sizes. After Slicing all the ingredients we do now the cooking process.
Saute the onion and garlic, after that put the pork. Fry it well until makes a golden brown color. Put the peppers then mix it well.
Next put the sayote and put a little water. When the water boiled put now the green bean and mix again. When the sayote are half cooked its time to put the brocolli , soy sauce and oyster sauce to taste. When the brocolli are half cook already put now the carrots, sweet corn and cabbages then mix it well.
Optional: put some sugar to adjust the saltiness.
Just cooked all the vegetable into a half cooked so that the crunchiness feels of the vegetables while eating it is still there.
"Chopsuey" is best served when its hot

If it was only cooked like your recipe, I'd like to try to eat Chopseuy but I can only swallow the carrots sometimes, but the cauliflower and broccoli? Nah.
Give it a try, their taste is not that too bad, greetings🤗
