In this video, we would like to share with you some cooking tips and easy guide to cook this Stir Fry Noodles. This is also called Pancit Canton Guisado and is one of the Filipino's favourite dish and is often served during birthdays and special occasions. This dish is my all-time favourite Filipino food.

Ingredients:
250g flour stick noodles 1 whole onion (minced)
1/4 kg pork (bite sized sliced) 1 head garlic (minced)
8 pcs fish balls 1 pc cabbage (chopped)
8 pcs pork balls 1L chicken broth
2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp fish sauce pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Heat up a large wok and pour 2 tbsp of cooking oil.
  2. Saute the garlic and onions for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the bite size pork slices then saute together with the garlic and onions.
  4. Season it with pepper and fish sauce to taste.
  5. Pour 2 cups of chicken broth, let it boil and continue to cook with the wok covered until the meat are tender. Set a timer for at least 20 minutes.
  6. Add in the fish and pork balls, fry to cook for 5 minutes.
  7. The cabbage goes next and saute it for 2 minutes.
  8. Pour the remaining chicken broth, then add the noodles afterwards.
  9. You can also add 2 tbsp of soy sauce and more pepper to taste.
  10. Cover the wok and let the noodles absorb the steam, this makes it softer. Toss the noodles and continue to cook until it completely absorbs the liquid.
  11. Toss until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

You can also have the best condiment for your Pancit Canton Guisado called 'toyomansi'. A mixture composed of soy sauce and calamansi.

Serve hot, share and enjoy!
