Today, I’m going to share with you how to prepare a dish that can be enjoyed both during tea time and as a quick breakfast. It’s a crispy recipe made by filling bread with a noodle mixture. Bread is a staple food around the world, often paired with sandwiches or served alongside hot curries. But today, I’m preparing it in a different way.
This creative bread snack is easy to make and is perfect for tea time, parties, or a quick family gathering. Since I’m using an egg in the recipe, it’s also nutritious. Now, let’s see how to prepare this dish!
Required Ingredients...
🍀 About 8 thinly sliced bread slices.
🍀 Instant noodles or noodles 80g.
🍀 1 teaspoon of Chili powder.
🍀 1/3 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
🍀 Salt as needed.
🍀 1 teaspoon of curry powder.
🍀 1 finely chopped onions.
🍀 1 green chilli pods finely chopped.
🍀 A pinch of finely chopped curry leaves.
🍀 A thinly sliced tomato.
🍀 1 Egg.
🍀 1 Cup of water.
🍀 2 tablespoon of wheat flour.
🍀 5 Tablespoon of coconut oil.
Method of making....
First, to prepare the noodles curry for the filling, place a pan on the stove and add about two tablespoons of coconut oil. Once the oil heats up, add the chopped onions, curry leaves, green chilies, and tomato pieces. Stir the mixture well. After sautéing for about a minute, add chili powder, curry powder, salt, and turmeric powder. Mix everything thoroughly to combine the spices evenly.
Next, crack an egg into the mixture and stir well to combine. Then, add one cup of water along with the noodles. Let the noodles cook thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Once cooked, remove the pan from the heat.
Next, carefully trim the edges of the bread slices as shown, removing the outer crusts.
Next, take a cup of wheat flour and mix it with a small amount of water to create a thin batter.
Next, use a rolling pin to flatten the bread slices thinly. Similarly, apply the prepared wheat flour batter evenly around the edges of the flattened bread slices as shown below.
Next, take each bread slice and place a small portion of the noodles mixture onto it. Then, fold it carefully, as shown in the images below.
Next, take a pan and place it on the stove. Add about one tablespoon of coconut oil and allow it to heat up. Once the oil is hot, fry the prepared bread pieces until they turn golden brown. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.
And now, this delicious recipe is ready! Serve it with a flavorful sauce and a warm cup of tea for the perfect combination.
