How are you all doing? Today, I had the chance to create a warm and comforting pastry for tea time that’s both unique and satisfying. These pastries are filled with a delicious blend of potatoes and seasoned eggs, making them a hearty and flavorful treat. This recipe is simple yet versatile, allowing you to adjust the spices and flavors to suit your preferences. It’s the perfect snack to enjoy with a warm cup of tea, leaving your taste buds delighted.

Required Ingredients...

🍀 2 Cup of Wheat flour.
🍀 2 teaspoon crushed chili powder.
🍀 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder.
🍀 1 teaspoon of pepper powder.
🍀 A cardamom pod.
🍀 Salt to taste.
🍀 A well-boiled Grated egg.
🍀 Boiled and mashed a medium sized potato.
🍀 2 green chilli pods, chopped.
🍀 A little chopped onion.
🍀 Some coconut oil.

Method of making....

1 Step.
First, take a bowl and add some wheat flour to it. Then, incorporate a pinch of salt, a little chili powder, and about two tablespoons of coconut oil. Mix these ingredients well. Gradually add water to the mixture while kneading until it forms a smooth dough ball. Ensure the consistency is soft but firm enough to roll out later.

2 Step.

ext, take a pan and add about two tablespoons of coconut oil. Place the pan on medium heat and allow the oil to heat up. Once the oil is hot, add finely chopped onions and green chilies to the pan. Sauté them until the onions become slightly golden and fragrant. Then, add the mashed potatoes and mix well with the onion and chili mixture. Finally, incorporate the beaten eggs into the pan and stir thoroughly until the mixture is well combined.

3 Step.
Next, take the prepared dough and divide it into two equal parts. Roll out each portion into a thin sheet, as demonstrated in the following steps.

4 Step.

Next, take the rolled-out sheet and arrange the prepared filling in small portions, evenly spaced apart, as shown in the images below.

5 Step.

Next, apply water around the edges of the areas where the filling has been placed. Then, take the other sheet of dough, place it on top, and seal it carefully as shown below.

6 Step.

Next, use a glass to cut the dough into round shapes. Then, use a fork to shape it as shown below.

7 Step.
Now, take a pan and place it on the stove. Add some coconut oil and heat it. Once the oil is hot, add the prepared pastries one by one and fry them until they turn golden brown.

I love your dish, it looks extremely delicious and reminds me a lot of something we call "Pastelitos" in my country. They're usually filled with cheese, ground or shredded beef, shredded chicken, potatoes with cheese, and you can put any kind of filling in them... Congratulations on your dish, it looks incredible and it made me want to try it
